Vivian, an on-air investigative reporter for a national television network, goes into a tailspin, quitting her job in a moment of hormonal anger. She soon discovers her up and down hormonal misfires come from being pregnant. But she’s 41 and doesn’t know anything about babies. With Vivian’s long time boyfriend a popular international correspondent specializing in seeking out terrorist entrenched in Afghanistan she runs to her recently widowed sister’s home in her native South. Did I mention that her parents are a politically-correct, leading Democratic family planning a run for the Governorship? And, her mother is the living re-enactment of Charlotte O’hare in “Gone With The Wind?” Put it all into a well-written novel and I couldn’t put it down!

Gracie’s mother has just been abandoned by her. The mother’s story continues. I won’t spoil the book. But let me say, that this book catches the reader up into the madness. Good story read by with excellence by Allison Campbell..

Debra Holland wrote a 1st Class book, as she has in her many other books. But Healing Montana Sky exceeds all I’ve read so far! This story starts with one woman with two children burying her husband who was killed by a bear. In another part of the state, a husband

This is a complicated story with too many characters. The twists and turns begin in the first chapter. It continued at the same harried pace the its very last page! The story line is that a liberal arts college professor loses his girlfriend to another man. But six years later, he finds that the man’s widow is not the old girlfriend. He spends the entire book trying to find what happened to her. Clues continue to unfold at a frenetic rat-a-tat pace. If you like old time gangster novels, you are sure to enjoy Six Years.

Much of it strained on my heartstrings where I considered holding back the book to complete another day. But, I did not. And Rosemary Hines taught me well.

Author Lynette Eason elevates the story of love with a truly action-packed story of precision-like military exploits. The prize? It reflects the oldest plot of all: Accessing God’s offered, chosen pathway, or sinking into the plot of the prince of darkness...facing a the most vile evil. This book reads like an old-time novel with a fresh, new face. Don’t miss this excellent book! ...But don’t read it too fast! To do so would risk the many worthy nuances, the twists and turns of the action! Enjoy!

Most of us never know how we would act in a horrific situation...that is unless you take this book to heart! The author lived through the Amish School murders. Her oldest son was the perpetrator! I suffered with her as I read listened to her tell her grief-filled days. And I rejoiced as her Amish neighbors, even the parents of the young victims, forgave their son and his family. ...Then the “English” families and Amish worked through their grief. It’s a book I will not forget! If you, too, are seeking grace and forgiveness, do read this book!

The Margrave of Thornbeck has to find a bride - fast. He invites 10 noble-born ladies who meet the king's approval to be his guests at Thornbeck Castle for two weeks - a time to test these ladies and reveal their true characters. Avelina has only two instructions: keep her true identity a secret and make sure the margrave doesn't select her as his bride. Since the latter seems unlikely, she concentrates on not getting caught. No one must know she is merely a maidservant sent by the Earl of Plimmwald to stand in for his daughter, Dorothea.
