I usually don't get both physical and audio, especially since read them all as come out, and have tablet that has voice though it's not audio type version, just somewhat male brit robot-like, but had a chance to get this so figured might as well.

In all his years of supernatural sleuthing, Harry Dresden has never faced anything like this: the spirit world's gone postal. These ghosts are tormented, violent, and deadly. Someone-or something-is purposely stirring them up to wreak unearthly havoc. But why? If Harry doesn't figure it out soon, he could wind up a ghost himself.

Meet Harry Dresden, Chicago's first (and only) Wizard P.I. Turns out the 'everyday' world is full of strange and magical things - and most of them don't play well with humans. That's where Harry comes in.

Business has been slow lately for Harry Dresden. Okay, business has been dead. Not undead - just dead. You would think Chicago would have a little more action for the only professional wizard in the phone book. But lately, Harry hasn't been able to dredge up any kind of work - magical or mundane. But just when it looks like he can't afford his next meal, a murder comes along that requires his particular brand of supernatural expertise. A brutally mutilated corpse. Strange-looking paw prints. A full moon. Take three guesses. And the first two don't count . . . Magic - it can get a guy killed

Not kindle unlimited, roommate has these various ways, working thru them, various formats but many on kindle, some also on audio for first few so will do review on those separately as well; btw if you didn't read the book, all of it, and/or just listened to couple seconds or minutes of it, NO you should NOT be able to review it, the BOOK, because that means the BOOK, all of it.

From book 1) For Harry Dresden, Chicago's only professional wizard, business, to put it mildly, stinks. So when the police bring him in to consult on a grisly double murder committed with black magic, Harry's seeing dollar signs. But where there's black magic, there's a black mage behind it. And now that mage knows Harry's name. As a professional wizard, Harry Dresden knows firsthand that the “everyday” world is actually full of strange and magical things—and most of them don’t play well with humans. And those that do enjoy playing with humans far too much. He also knows he’s the best at what he does. Technically, he’s the only at what he does. But even though Harry is the only game in town, business—to put it mildly, stinks. So when the Chicago P.D. bring him in to consult on a double homicide committed with black magic, Harry's seeing dollar signs. But where there's black magic, there's a black mage behind it. And now that mage knows Harry's name...

dont' think it is or was on kindle unlimited, but actually got this one on audio instead of letting my system 'read' the words to me {not audible, the computer just does it with various programs}

I should have known, from watctching John Oliver's HBO show, that I should NOT be drinking anything while watching or listening because pepsi hurts when I end up snorting and it ending up going in to my sinuses

As usual, Oliver is classic and spot on.

HBO's Emmy-winning Last Week Tonight with John Oliver presents a picture book about a Very Special boy bunny who falls in love with another boy bunny.

Meet Marlon Bundo, a lonely bunny who lives with his Grampa, Mike Pence - the Vice President of the United States. But on this Very Special Day, Marlon's life is about to change forever...

With its message of tolerance and advocacy, this charming children's book explores issues of same sex marriage and democracy. Sweet, funny, and beautifully illustrated, this book is dedicated to every bunny who has ever felt different.

100% of Last Week Tonight's proceeds will be donated to The Trevor Project and AIDS United

I have heard a few people who just make a story come to life, there is just something about their voice, and maybe or maybe not it has something to do with what they are reading out, but not sure about that.

Stephen Fry, Brian Blessing, Tom Baker; am sure there are more but those come to mind right off for me.

audible, as usual, didn't want to read/say the story on their app, so pulled it on my tablet, so at least it doesn't have the usual lag, stall, and mel tillis stuttering it has on so many, probably because I downloaded each one then finally started listening

first of several books out by this writer, have read all of them, bit different hearing it read professionally, as even when my computer reads to me it's a semi-robotic male brit, though was 4 attempts to try to get the free code to load right, the first time it signed me up for audible gold, but at least this time the audible program didn't lag like it was playing a massive rpg game or whatever, or stutter like a Mel Tillis impression, which it has done on quite a few of the books from here, maybe was 'lucky' day after so much junk from before, but not going to let it affect my rating of this cute book
