Would you consider the audio edition of Epic Fantasy Adventure: The Sands of Time to be better than the print version?

"The Sands of Time" is a great book whether you read the words yourself, or if someone reads them to you. The one great thing about the audio version, is that you can lay your head down, put head phones on, close your eyes, and listen. You really can see the magical world in your mind.

What other book might you compare Epic Fantasy Adventure: The Sands of Time to and why?

The other book that I would compare "The Sands of Time" to is "The Angel's Blessing" which is book one of this series. They are great books with the same wonderful magic. They are both out of this world.

Which character – as performed by Jason Damron – was your favorite?

My favorite character that Jason Damron performed was who I consider to be the hero "Kell." Jason just made "Kell" real to me, and helped me picture him in my mind.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I did want to listen to "The Sands of Time" in one sitting. It wasn't long, but it brings the imagination to life. I loved it!

If you could sum up Stretching in three words, what would they be?

If I could sum up "Stretching: The Top 100 Best Stretches of All Time," I would use these three words good:

Flexibility
Coordination
Circulation

Who was your favorite character and why?

Since this was a self help book about learning the best stretching before exercises, there were no characters. If you want to consider Joshua Mackey or Ace McCloud, then I would say they were both great. Ace for his writing, and Joshua for his narrating.

What does Joshua Mackey bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

As usual with all of the books that Joshua Mackey has narrated, he brings excitement and interest to Ace's words.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

What did you love best about Cycling: Bicycling Made Easy?

What I liked best about "Cycling: Bicycling Made Easy, was the last chapter of the book "Inspirational Biking Stories." I feel, reading about the greats of cycling, Lance Armstrong,Greg LeMond, and Marshall Taylor, gives those who are serious about making biking a sport, is 100% inspirational. I mean they had set backs, but they got back up, and started pedaling again.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Since this book is basically a self-help book, there were no actual characters. Unless, you would like to count the author Ace McCloud or narrator Joshua Mackey? If so, I think they both did great.

What does Joshua Mackey bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

When Joshua Mackey narrates a book, no matter what type of book it is, he brings the author's words to life. He reads the words with excitement and, sometimes, I detect a note of feeling. Of course, that depends on what is being talked about.

What did you learn from Cycling: Bicycling Made Easy that you would use in your daily life?

The most important thing that I learned from Cycling: Bicycling Made Easy is from Chapter 6 "Mental Strength Techniques." It's a strategy or technique, but a statement. I just think it is something to take away from the book that you can use in your everyday life, "Personal honesty can help you achieve the results you want and drop methods that aren't getting you anywhere." It really gives a person something to think about.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would without a doubt recommend "The Angel"s Blessing" to my friends. It is a great way to enter the realm of Fantasy with the use of magic, spells, and beauty. It is also great, if a friend isn't sure about reading a book based on Fantasy because it is inexpensive and a short read.

What other book might you compare Epic Fantasy Adventure: The Angel's Blessing to and why?

The other book that I would compare "Epic Fantasy Adventure: The Angel's Blessing" to is "Towers." The reason I chose this book is because it is also another Fantasy book, but both books have the same type of magic. The spells used in both books are chants, and they both have witches as heroes. "The Angel's Blessing has a witch named "Wendfala," and in "Towers" the witch is "Crowlyn." As stated by "Kelyk" from "Towers," "The third hero, if you can consider a witch a hero...."

Which character – as performed by Jason Damron – was your favorite?

The character that I liked Jason Damron performing, is "Kell." He helped me picture "Kell" through his voice filled with excitement, fear, and a sense of calm.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I really did enjoy the book, but as far as an extreme reaction, there is one part of the book that gave me goose bumps. It was when "Gavial" gave them her blessing. I will highlight some of her blessing here, "Through this portal you must seek your prey. A journey of a month will take a day...., so tarry not and do not be afraid. Look always forward and never where you've been, and I will be with you in the wind. The innocents will tarry in my shrine, and I will teach their souls to sing and shine.....But if your faith is strong and you hold true, this angel and her blessing in the wind will be with you." She is their guardian angel.

Where does Towers rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I absolutely enjoyed reading "Towers" by Blaine Hart. This short story has all of the elements of a great fantasy book. It is exciting, magical, and mystical. It is one of Blaine Hart's best works.

What other book might you compare Towers to and why?

If I was to compare "Towers" to another book, I would choose "A Bard's Tale." The reason I would choose it is because "A Bard's Tale" is another short story fantasy that offers the same magic. When I say this, I think of the fairy "Azore Frostyhill," and compare her to the witch, "Crowlyn." I compare these two because they both possess the magical wisdom to beat their enemies.

What does Jason Damron bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

When you are just sitting there quietly reading the story, you can just picture in your mind the many scenes that are taking place, as well as imagining what each character may look like. For me when Jason Damron narrates the story, he brings each character to life. While reading the story, he makes you feel as if you are there because he really gets into the mind of the character.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The part of the book that moved me was at the end when Kelyk's life was described, "he eventually found the woman of his dreams, and married her. Fifteen years after the attack he was wealthy, and had six children. He made peace with the Barbarians. Kelyk lived happily ever after, having made the world a much better place. His people open up to the Age of Enlightenment" a ten year reign of peace, happiness, prosperity, and love across the whole world." I still get goose bumps from that part of the book.

Yes I would listen to "Massage Therapy: Health Secrets: and Ultimate Energy" again because it is full of many ideas, strategies, and recipes that can help you live a healthy life with increased energy.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Massage Therapy: Health Secrets: Ultimate Energy?

The best way for me to tell about the most memorable moments in this book, is for me to pick something from each of the three books.

From "Massage Therapy" my most favorable moment was when it was explained where and when massage therapy began. "It dates back as far as the existence of ancient China and is still relevant today."

From "Health Secrets" my most favorable moment was the many different recipes and the best foods to eat to keep yourself in good health. The recipe I chose is the "Strawberry Oatmeal Breakfast Smoothie."

Lastly, from "Ultimate Energy" my most favorable moment is how Ace describes that the best way to gain and keep energy during the day, is by making sure to get a good night's sleep. He suggests, "if you are used to falling asleep with the TV on, then maybe you could try listening to a book. The light from the TV could keep you awake."

I have always enjoyed listening to Joshua Mackey narrate Ace McCloud's books because he is always full of excitement. His performance always makes me want to listen more. He is just fun to listen you.

Where does Constipation rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

"Constipation" is a very informative book that has many ideas and advice to help prevent constipation. It explains so many facts about the condition that I never knew about, and unfortunately, I suffer from IBS.

What did you like best about this story?

What I liked best about the story is the many different foods that you can eat to help prevent constipation. Ace suggests, "foods that are high in fiber, such as apples, bananas, beans, raspberries, blueberries, and whole grain breads."

What does Joshua Mackey bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Now, we all have to admit that constipation is not something that we enjoy discussing, but as usual, Joshua Mackey lends excitement to a book in which the condition is usually private. He speaks as if he understands the plight of many people who suffer from the condition.

What insight do you think you’ll apply from Constipation?

One of the ideas that Ace brings to the table about how to help and prevent constipation, is through Yoga. It calming effect helps your body get rid of stress naturally. There are many different poses that you can try to aid in preventing your condition. They are: "Baddha Konasana, Ardha Matsyendrasana, Pavanamuktasana (wind relieving pose), Halasana, and Savasana.

These are crazy names, but by looking up videos on "YouTube," you can find out how to perform each one, and see what works best for you. Because I suffer from IBS, I would like to try using Yoga.

Any additional comments?

I heard a line from a television show, and I cannot remember which show, but the guy says, "I do not drink prune juice for the taste." My grandmother swore by prune juice if she was having problems, and she used to try to get me to drink some every morning. I couldn't stomach it, but maybe I should have given it a try.
