Read like a John Grisham mood on speed, I went in too many directions at once and was hard for me to follow. Usually I want to stay in the car and listen longer but iI just didn't want to. I selected book only because of the author but it did not deliver. I would not waste a credit,

Some of the narrator’s voices were goofy or just inappropriate. Story was too extreme and therefore not very believable. Character development not real good.

The story sounded good when I bought the audible book . It just dragged on and on and I never could get in to it. My husband is listening to it now and he has stuck with it even tho this story is tedious and slow going.

I have read all the books and of course this is the last one. All her past books were full of spirit and held my interest and moved quickly. Not this one. This one is like hiking up hill for ever and never getting far. I mean I actually fell asleep while listening to this and so it was boring. I just lags and lags and just goes no where. I would not invest credits or time in to this one.

This is a long book and I got through all the vaginal conversations the entire world was saying. This flirty woman did not feel she could Marry so you arranged marriages among her friends. He however continued to entertain one man who happened to be married. and this book goes on about the conditioned and the use of Elizabeth's need to produce an heir. So, vaginas, heir, flirty are all you get out of this book. very little historical history.
I am going to give this book back. Reading the Tudors was magnificent and held my interest, but this spin off is just boring and flat.
