With the legends and lore of Ireland running through his blood, falconer Connor O’Dwyer is proud to call County Mayo home. It’s where his sister, Branna, lives and works, where his cousin, Iona, has found true love, and where his childhood friends form a circle that can’t be broken. A circle that is about to be stretched out of shape - by a long-awaited kiss. Meara Quinn is Branna’s best friend, a sister in all but blood. Her and Connor’s paths cross almost daily, as Connor takes tourists on hawk walks and Meara guides them on horseback across the lush countryside.

With indifferent parents, Iona Sheehan grew up craving devotion and acceptance. From her maternal grandmother, she learned where to find both: a land of lush forests, dazzling lakes, and centuries-old legends. Ireland. County Mayo, to be exact. Where her ancestors’ blood and magic have flowed through generations - and where her destiny awaits.

Halloween LaVeau is descended from a long line of witches. Yes, her name is Halloween. The cosmic universe is definitely playing some kind of sick joke on her. She's the ultimate witch cliche, complete with a black cat and spooky house. Thank heavens she's missing the warts and flying broom. When Halloween inherits her great aunt's manor, she decides to put the house to good use as a bed and breakfast. Her first guest is the sinfully good-looking Nicolas Marcos, but he's not here for the continental breakfast.

This book wasn't for me. Normally I love a good witchy book BUT this one had me wanting to throttle the main character due to her inability to make a decision and follow through. I wanted to blab for her. I didn't like the other two male characters either. Just wasn't for me. I know there are those out there that love a good stubborn, indecisive character that has all sorts of blunders following in her wake. Here ya go!

I've always enjoyed Angie Fox's writing. This book will hook you from the beginning. Verity long dumps Beau at the alter after finding out he tried to seduce her sister. In turn his Mother tries to make her penniless but she manages to hold onto her home. In short one of his tactless gifts happens to be an ugly vase that she find to be an urn of his long dead uncle with ashes n all. Well, the ghost of the uncle ends up being a good, if not mob like, friend, and Ellis, Beau's brother, happens to be a police officer and they end up super sleuthing together. In an odd fashion. There is a romance, that in all rights shouldn't happen but does, ghosts, murder and lost treasure involved. Loved it from beginning to end!!! Tavia...as always, is an excellent narrator!!

Goes to soon to be husbands home and pretends not knowing he's a vampire and that the "town" she's in is absolutely paranormal and plays on it for tourist. This is a hoot!!! When I bought the first book "Easy Bake Coven" I also purchased this one on the idea that I do enjoy these types of reads. BIG MISTAKE. I listened to them just to be fair and found that no matter what....I didn't not like the main female character Selene at all and Chaney was a drag also. I'll give credit to the back ground characters because they were good but the 2 mains were just....others may like this but I didn't. The Narrator did a great job...but the story itself...sorry.
