The first 6 books were awesome. Book 7 was ok but this one just was kind blah and very disappointing. Even made me have no interest if another book comes out. Makes me kind of feel sad about the whole thing.

I thought the story was great and I think Reading did a good job narrating, however I had one issue with it. The attitude and personality of Leah didn’t come across as the same girl in the other 6 books. Dan seemed like a bumbling oaf when the narrator portrayed him as well.
It just seemed that maybe Reading didn’t listen to the other books before performing this one. Not enough of an issue to turn me away but it did give some disappointment.

I love the way Bray narrates so I tried this out. His performance was great as expected but the story just did nothing for me. I kept loosing interest and never cared about ANY of the characters or what happened with them. Try it out, it just wasn’t that interesting to me.

I love this series. You actually give a crap about the characters and feel their joy as well as their pain. Well written and perfectly narrated.

Being prepared is definitely commendable and this series has helped me get more into the “prepper” mindset. I’ve made some plans and have some provisions tucked away. The thing I don’t like about this series is how it implies that ANYONE who isn’t gung-ho about being prepared and/or have some tactical training are idiots and less than the main characters. Story drips with self importance.
I still like it, enjoy the narrators voice but he cannot accent different characters to distinguish one from another like other narrators.

Amazing! Mind blowing! Whirlwind adventure! I absolutely loved this book! One that I couldn’t put down. Wonderful character development, exquisite descriptions of everything happening as well. Didn’t want it to end. Well worth cost or credits, I’m hungry for more.

Literally didn’t want to stop. Tried setting a timer at bed time and kept extending it Lol! Finally gave in at 6 am, slept for 3 hours and started again.
Great writing and excellent performance. Can’t wait to find out what happens in the next book.

Loved the first book; Didn’t like this one though.
Obviously this is just my opinion and others may enjoy the book but...
I didn’t care at all about the characters and the story just seemed a bit dull. Made myself listen to the end but really wasn’t interested in what was going to happen. I’ll give book three a try only because it’s supposed about the initial characters.

Wasn’t sure at the very start that I’d like this one. Boy was I wrong! Excellent development to suck you in and make you care for the characters, dislike some and have your fingers crossed for the demise of others. Loved it!
