Would you listen to Bethlehem Road again? Why?

For sure...I always hear things I may have missed the first time.

What about Davina Porter’s performance did you like?

She is awesome. I believe she is my favorite narrator. She brings the characters to life for me.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

I enjoyed trying to figure out who done it and why before reaching the end of the book. I was wrong... but it was a possibility.

It is winter, 1553. Pursued by the Inquisition, Hannah Green, a 14-year-old Jewish girl, is forced to flee Spain with her father. But Hannah is no ordinary refugee. Her gift of "Sight," the ability to foresee the future, is priceless in the troubled times of the Tudor court. Hannah is adopted by the glamorous Robert Dudley, the charismatic son of King Edward's protector, who brings her to court as a "holy fool" for Queen Mary and, ultimately, Queen Elizabeth.

Bought this download and listened to about the first 10 minutes. After 4 volumes of listening to Davina - I cannot get used to the new narrator. So while the story may be a good one - and I am sure it will be - am opting to "read" as opposed to listening. I love audio books - it is like being told a story.
