it's an excellent read! a lot to take in and many emotions all at once all the way through it. I'm going to listen to again, no question. and I hope these two put another book out soon! also, Ms. Glaister did a beautiful job. at times, her voice was the only shimmer of light in this very dark story. thanks all!

Seriously though, it's a good story very well performed by Mr. Malcolm. Mr. Olson doesn't disappoint with his multifaceted and twisty turny storytelling right up to the very end. Well done! & thx!!

I'm enjoying this series very much. thank you. the writing and narrating alike carry the reader along nonstop, guessing and giggling all the. ms. trent offers intrigue, as well a a tiny bit of self-dedicating on violets part, or maybe that just far flung humility... whatever it is, I'm fond of violet. shes a character for whom I find myself rooting. and ms. poll does an excellent with voices. male female british Scottish american french and Egyptian. way to go, I'm off to start book 3. thanks again.

I'm so glad I found ms. brackston and her witches. this was the first I listened to, but I've dived into the witch's daughter series too now. they are good stories well told. and ms. calin has a most enjoyable reading voice and cadence. a must listen recommendation. I thank you both ladies for jobs well done!

I read the book in the 80s. I saw the movie in the 90s. Now I've listened to the audio productions twice in the last 3 months. So yeah. I'm pretty sure I just love it! I love the story. I can never tire of Louis, and Mr. Vance, with his voice(s), accents, and cadence are the perfect recipe for delight. Thank you Ms. Rice from a long fan and Mr. Vance has a new member in his following. xx

as always, ms. rice outdoes herself. I dont think theres a story in her head about lestat ir louis (maybe especially Louis) that I wouldnt love. after I heard book 13 was coming, I dived in to the audibles of 1 thru 12. it's been a wonderful emotional and well worth it ride down memory lane getting myself reminded and ready for this novel. I wasnt disappointed. Mr. Quinn had big shoes to fill following Mr..Vance, but i enjoyed his performance well enough to applaud him as well. please dont stop here, Ms rice, for the love of hell. mwah!

Bravo!! Bravo on the story, the content, and the telling. The narration and performance is absolutely excellent!! David Pittu may have just surpassed Mr. Vance (although, I have truly missed Simon Vance's narration. Do not doubt, I can't wait to hear that voice melting into my ears again, xx). Ok. I have to go, so I can start Blood Canticle.
