This, the only memoir published by a former Schindler's List child, perfectly captures the innocence of a small boy who goes through the unthinkable. Most notable is the lack of rancour, the lack of venom, and the abundance of dignity in Mr Leyson's telling. The Boy on the Wooden Box is a legacy of hope, a memoir unlike anything you've ever read.

Too many statistics, the reader was not very engaging... Love horses, hate racing - especially because of what they do to the horses. Not the story I had hoped for...

Was a good thriller with a surprising ending.
The reader was a bit hard to follow at times, but overall it was a good book.

This story really have the reader a good insight into the Nazi atrocities! I thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend it.
