I found the journal at work. Well, I don't know if you'd call it work, but that's where I found it. It's the lost journal of Nikola Tesla, one of the greatest inventors and visionaries ever. Before he died in 1943, he kept a notebook filled with spectacular claims and outrageous plans.

I really enjoyed the Novel, very interested in sci-fi, the author interjected much needed comedy. I thought that the author did an admirable job performing the novel! I would recommend if you like any type of sci-fi. I do think that the way the author read the novel was one if the main reasons I enjoyed the story so much!

Being a big mystery reader I am always on the look out for new characters and authors and I have found both with this classic murder mystery set in present day St. Augustine Florida. The characters are real and believable, the story garbs you and keeps you on the interested in the next step, really enjoyed the narration by Mike Dennis. I thoroughly recommend Matanzas Bay to anyone who likes mysteries.

A present day mystery based on an actual historical event, the story sometimes as life is pretty hard on your feelings, but it kept the reader on the edge of the seat. The treasure hunt and paranormal aspect (not usually something this reader goes for), was interlaced well and added to the story. The narration was well done, and particularly liked the well pronounced Welsh locations. I heartily recommend to any mystery fan!

Murder meets menopause. Take a guess which wins. A romantic vacation for...five? This wasn't exactly what Jessie and Wilson had in mind when they planned their trip to the tropics. The fun begins when Jessie's delightfully spry mother, Wilson's surfer dude son, and Jessie's rabidly hyperactive New York agent decide to tag along. What kind of trouble can these three oddest of odd balls possibly get into? Take a guess.

If you could sum up Double Shot in three words, what would they be?

Exciting, Funny and Witty!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Tessie or is it Jessie, the main character who seems like a real person, placed in a real life situations, mostly!

What about Caroline Miller’s performance did you like?

Caroline does it again, great to listen too and sounds as if she is Jessie!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Always the AH HA moments, Jessie is so focused, she finds the culprit (a needle in a haystack) but misses many of the trees right in front of her!

Any additional comments?

I especially like the pool shark angle!

Sector 64 has all the components of classic good verse bad, thoroughly enjoyable sci fi. From the first scene to the last, the compelling story keeps one on the edge of the seat and not wanting to end, or put down!

There are evil protagonists and more than a few hero\heroines, full characters which makes you invested in the outcome. The dialogue was slanted toward the military interactions which may be to overbearing for some, but come off as realistic in actuality.

The story is also eminently plausible, which I believe is important for present day story lines, also the sci fi technology was not over the top, the descriptions of it were straightforward and clear but wasn't the focus.

The narrator did a great job!
