I enjoyed the perspective of a leprechaun fantasy genre. I’ve never read one so that was fresh.
It did get a little slow here and there but over all enjoyed it.
I don’t know if I would listen to it though if I knew what I knew about it now :)

The post of Head Girl of Whitehall looks fantastic on anyone's resume. It places the lucky winner on equal terms to the staff, granting them authority, power, and responsibility that no other student can even dream of possessing. Naturally, Emily doesn't want it. But when she returns to Whitehall for her sixth and final year, she discovers that the staff has elected her to the post - and refusal isn't an option. Reluctantly, she starts to carry out her new duties, unaware that deadly enemies are waiting in the shadows, preparing themselves to strike at her when her back is turned.

When Lily Jacobs was born, she inherited Fazire - a genie. Her family had three wishes and they'd only ever used one so Fazire was stuck in the human world. This worked since he'd become a member of the family anyway. Even with a genie, Lily's young life wasn't perfect. To escape the kids making her miserable at school, Lily buried herself in romance novels. One day, when the teasing was just too much, she used one of her wishes.

It worked the readers' emotions, in ways that were authentic and then in ways that were too much like manhandling.

I am enjoying this series way more than I thought. Whenever that happens I’m full of gratitude!
On the dark side, this 4th book lost a bit of momentum in storyline.
But worse for me was the change in narrator. Slaughtered it. So sad.
Even so, I may listen to the next one at some pint as I’ve enjoyed the previous three so very much.

Greece in the age of heroes. Patroclus, an awkward young prince, has been exiled to the kingdom of Phthia to be raised in the shadow of King Peleus and his golden son, Achilles. “The best of all the Greeks”—strong, beautiful, and the child of a goddess—Achilles is everything the shamed Patroclus is not. Yet despite their differences, the boys become steadfast companions. Their bond deepens as they grow into young men and become skilled in the arts of war and medicine—much to the displeasure and the fury of Achilles’ mother, Thetis, a cruel sea goddess with a hatred of mortals.

Lizzie demonstrated her depth of understanding of love when she decided she was, oh yah!, loyal to The Lady and Maggie just after discovering her F was a murderer.
Shucks.
Author wrote it off based of her history of deprivation and trauma.
Could happen. Did tarnish the fantasy flow of character development. May b a good thing. Maybe not.

My name is Larkspur, and I am an Elemental. My people use the power of the earth to sustain life and defy our enemies. I should be at my father's side as a royal princess. But as a half-breed, bastard child, that isn't going to happen. I've been accused of attacking the queen, my wicked stepmother, and my life is suddenly on the line. I have only two options left to me: banishment, or training to become one of the King's Elite Guards, an Ender.
