A very thoughtful story of a man who plans to end is life...with some regret and "wish overs". Meets a Time traveler who for his kindness grants him a Gift of time....
He corrects some of his mistakes, The responsibility of the death of his younger brother. The passing of his Mom, The different path of his life. The woman who changed his life.

The story is all absorbing. Very thoughtfully done. One of the best audios Ive listen to

at first I wasnt sure if i bought the right book. I had misgiving about the first hour of listening. I wanted to return it. I put it down and came back to it two days later...for some reason I was hooked. I listen to the 22 hours of narration. It was awesome..little hints of life in the silicon valley. The cast of characters really added to the story.

Then, on planet LV178, he and his fellow miners discovered a storm-scoured, sand-blasted hell - and trimonite, the hardest material known to man. Would you consider the audio edition of Alien: Out of the Shadows to be better than the print version?

The audio version is so much more captivating. It so reminded me of radio programs of its day...sound effects, emotional outbursts. The back and forth interaction of the cast of characters. Darn,, it was exciting

What other book might you compare Alien: Out of the Shadows to and why?

Six degrees of Assassination, another Audio Drama. Was just as equally captivating.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Oh yes but I hated to have it end. It follows the story line of an Alien on board. And Rutger Hauer as Ash. And the rest of the cast...was outstanding. I want more

What did you love best about Ashley's War?

The whole audio book was very well presented.. My daughter was in Class 3 of the CST. I am very proud of her accomplishment. I had no idea of what she went through. But through the research of Gayle Tzemach Lemmon and the telling of Ashley White's Story . I have a new respect for our woman warriors.

What did you like best about this story?

What I like best? Gosh the whole book was best. Kathe Mazur presentation was captivating and heart warming. The last chapter was the most moving.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

To listen to it, in one sitting would have done it an injustice. I had to listen to it over several days and reflect on what I had heard. Ashley's passing is an inspiration to those who followed her.`
