Years before they became crewmates on the U.S.S. Enterprise, Commander William Riker and ship's counsellor Deanna Troi had a tempestuous love affair on her home planet of Betazed. Now, as their passions have cooled, the two serve together as close friends. Yet the memories of what passed between them linger and Riker and Troi remain Imzadi, a powerful Betazoid term that describes the enduring bond they still share.

If you are a Next Generations fan, you’ll love this! This fits perfectly into the Generation stories and is just as fantastic! Jonathan Frakes does an amazing job especially with his vocal inflections. You really can imagine the rest of the Enterprise crew. Didn’t see the end coming and the plot twist though! Very clever! A must have!

True to Star Wars canon! The story is gripping and the characters are same that we all know and love. Claudia Gray attaches a climatic ending you don’t see coming! Jonathan Davis is now a favorite and I will follow up on his works! I plan on buying the hard copy just to relive the adventure all over again!
