This was an interesting futuristic thriller. Talia goes to clinic for a checkup due to headaches and is scanned by virtual computer and finds out she had a child in the past which she does not remember. She then goes to York to help her remember and then the mystery and action occur (you need to listen). It was a good quick listen. This is not your typical werewolf story when the changes occur with full moons the horror starts when Horatio is not buried and stored until the ground thaws. Poor Ernie Mulligan ex-cop who does paroling for several companies including the cemetery where he encounters the ancient curse and the action and horror begins. I have to admit I usually listen to horror and supernatural books but enjoy a good cozy mystery once in a while and enjoyed this one especially the narration and characters. The main character of Zion Sawyer found out her birth mother Vivian Bradley has died and left her all of her possessions in Sequoia CA and goes there to meet the lawyer. He tells her she is now owner of coffee shop, cottage and some money (you have to listen to find out what happens). It has great character development and liked her parents (Gabi and Joe), Tate and Sheriff Wilson and the book has an unexpected ending. I really enjoyed when she ended her relationship with Insurance Company. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. Thank you

There are many ghosts (Cotton man and Fiona) from book one still in the house that is now haunting Joe Dubois and his family who recently purchased it and seeks help from his uncle who dabbled in the paranormal. I really enjoy the character of Dr. Marcel Dubois who does much research into all the previous owners and very creepy findings and a solution but upset with the ending as not really saying what was going to happen to him (I can surmise though)so guess another book coming (I hope). I absolutely love this series as they are thought provoking with humor. In this book it there is a mansion that has good bones in which Maggie convinces Walt to purchase and restore and turns out to be haunted. Enjoyed the historical research that both Maggie and Walt discovered to help the spirits in the house only complaint it was too short. I love all of the characters especially Walt and his extended family. Great narration as usual. Highly recommend if you enjoy thought provoking mysteries with humor. Keep them coming! I enjoyed this post-apocalyptic suspenseful thriller and recommend to anyone who likes post-apocalyptic. My favorite character was Buck (old timer prepper) and Paul his son in law. It was full of action with touch of humor especially with Buck. They are out to save Susan (Paul’s wife and Buck’s daughter) and Autumn (granddaughter/daughter) after radiation attack. I was a little upset with the ending but realize not everyone can survive. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. Thank you
