This book was well worth the wait to finish off the wonderful series. I actually waited to start it because I just didn't want to see the characters go. Maas writing is amazing and with the narrator it makes it a perfect 10. there is only one other narrator I love but still not more than Evans. Maas writing mirrors real life where everyone you meet are part of a thread that makes up your life. If you do the right thing and those thread can either become a blanket or a comforter. can't wait to start another one of Sarah's books. I'm forever a fan and can't wait until they hit the big screen so others who don't read can experience the wonderful world and characters she creates!!!!

All Damali Richards ever wanted to do was create music and bring it to the people. Now she is a Spoken Word artist and the top act for Warriors of Light Records. But come nightfall, she hunts vampires and demons - predators that people tend to dismiss as myth or fantasy. But Damali and her Guardian team cannot afford such delusions, especially now, when a group of rogue vampires have been killing the artists of Warriors of Light and their rival, Blood Music.

read the reviews and saw that they thought narrator wasn't good for this book. I agree 100%. she has a range of voices and keeps u engaged which is great for majority of the books I listen to. However, this book needed an ethnic narrator. when she speaks slang it makes u wanna roll ur eyes and cut off the book it's horrible and I feel like ugh.🤦🏾‍♀️ The storyline keeps u able to finish the book. although I listened to 3 other books in between out of frustration 🤷🏾‍♀️.. Either buy it and read on ur own or tough out the narrator it's a good read and narrator is not bad just not right for this book since it's has alot of ethnic characters.

The only thing that frightens shapeshifter Selene Rhodes more than the full moon is the idea of falling in love. Selene Rhodes has lived her whole life with a terrible secret: not only can she take the form of any animal at will, but once a month the full moon transforms her into a fierce wolf-creature without a human conscience. Managing her condition means living by a strict routine, and more importantly, abstaining from intimate relationships with human beings.

Read this book based on reviews and it did not disappoint. Since I started listening to books at work about 6 months ago I've come to realize just how important the narrator is. Alexandra Wilde is amazing and if I could have her do all the books I buy I would. Her range from male, female, accents, and ability to do erotic sences without making them cheesy is amazing. the story was great and she brought it to life. will be listening to more from Mrs. O'Brien. she really developed even the smallest characters, leaving out no details and doesn't make it a story that has alot of sex scenes untasteful. it's all about connection and romance which in my opinion makes you connect and feel what the characters feel, especially with the narrators voice.

The narrator is a great choice for this book. It took the 1st book to get use to her but she really fits. the story has so many twist to it and is so unpredictable. Most writers don't like to kill off main characters but that is what is needed at times to actually make the story come to life. I love that about this story. You come to care about the villians and see thru their eyes. you get so invested that you feel every lose and triumph. 🙌🏾 love it
