Princess Lenora Celeste Beatrice Arabella Pembrook had an unusual childhood. She was raised to be a queen - the first queen of Wessco. It’s a big deal. When she’s crowned at just 19, the beautiful young monarch is prepared to rule. She’s charming, clever, confident, and cunning. What she isn’t...is married. It’s her advising council’s first priority. It’s what Parliament is demanding, and what her people want. Lenora has no desire to tie herself to a man - particularly one who only wants her for her crown. But compromises must be made and royals must do their duty.

the first two hours of the audio book is nothing but filler. the love interest didn't come in until chapter 7 and although I wished I would have had those first two hours of getting to know both characters I still listen on. but now I've looked up and I am more than halfway done with the book and I am not emotionally invested in the love story or the characters. in fact while the book is going I've started looking for my next read already which is not a good sign. the story itself is written very well but the plot is very boring and there's something missing that would make me emotionally invested in their love story at this point I don't care if they get together or not. the only part in the book that sparked any emotion out of me is when the friend died. the narrator's are great they did a good job. the story wasn't that great. it wasn't bad it wasn't horrible but it was some things that just seemed m e h as a plot line. as usual the writer technique and writing style is great she writes and deliver some story amazingly and the performer the narrator did a really great job nail the voices and everything but the actual story content and self wasn't that exciting. even more supposed to get exciting I still didn't feel that excitement. there was a couple of things that I don't feel like was explain well kind of feels like this should be the start of a series with this couple but I know the way that Larissa works this particular story is done and she's only setting up the foreshadowing for other stories in the series. but I did feel like at the end Suzanne got a easy win.

but I got used to him. I honestly do not feel like his voice really captured Knox. I get the impression from the way Gena wrote the story that Knox is cold and distant and the narrator is more lively like a jokester. I mean I get because Knox is supposed to be what the humans considered to be Loki who's a jokester but I get the impression that mankind knows nothing about who Loki is so that jokester trickster personality doesn't really fit Knox. not if at one point he was more Carefree then I can see how the male natirar were gradually go to that more lighthearted jokester type after getting to know Val. but considering the fact knox's upbringing he never had opportunity in his life to be carefree so the jokester personality that the narrator gave him didn't fit with the way Gena wrote him with his emotions and his thought process. however good writing really got me into the story into like the characters and the male narrator eventually grew on me. I'm pretty excited and cannot wait for the next installment of the series

Each day I prayed for my husband to love me again. After 15 years together, he walked away from me, and into the arms of another. I didn’t know how to cope. I didn’t know my worth. I didn’t know how to exist without him by my side. All I wanted was for him to come back to me. Then, Jackson Emery appeared. He was supposed to be a distraction for my mind. A summer fling. A confidence boost to my bruised heart. We were perfect for one another, because we both knew we wouldn’t last. Jackson didn’t believe in commitment, and I no longer believed in love.

I don't feel like the book blurb accurately describe the story. I was expecting something totally different. it said that she was going to be trying to get her husband back but she never tried to get her husband back. she just pouted and cried about it with her friends and family and Jackson. in fact she made it clear that she didn't want anything to do with her husband or his mistress. I just was expecting her to chase him a little bit from the book blurb. it seemed like she was bent on letting her marriage die and everybody else wanted to save it. but like I said it was a good story I enjoyed it and I like the characters. the beginning just wasn't what I expected but thank God the writer knew how to have something else interesting in its place to cover up my disappointment. it just feels like a little bait-and-switch type of thing. It should read that after finding out her husband's betrayal she works on find out who she is and in the process finds love in an unexpected person. I have to say though the twists and turns of this novel was pretty obvious because the author has so much of foreshadowing that you pretty much knew how the story was going to go. this is a typical sweet romance in my opinion. but the story is really well written so you do get invested in the characters and because you are invested in the characters is the reason you want to keep going to see how things worked out for these characters even though you pretty much see all the plot twist coming. I think that the author does a good job with the emotions and you really go through that moment with the characters. you laugh you cry your heart breaks with them you feel Joy with them. it's a well-written piece.

I enjoy the series but I felt like this would have been better as one book and not three. something that I don't like and I felt like wasn't really addressed or maybe it's just something that I would have loved to seen in this book is Lachlan meeting her parents. he told her numerous times that she can say as much as she wants or she doesn't have to say anything at all and I don't really understand why she would leave her parents just guessing in the dark. she may not need to explain everything to them but what will be the harm in saying hey Mom and Dad I'm married? and hey mom and dad meet my husband. the way her parents are they don't seem like the type to let this go so I didn't really care for the way her parents were just left like that. I also didn't like the fact that Lachlan removed her jewelry everything except her hood piercing to make it look as though he has abandoned her. was he considering Let Her Go at all or what? was he going to walk away then he changed his mind? then he became a coward? and I'm sorry but Jay needed to be shot between the eyes. overall it was a really good story I enjoyed it I like the characters I felt like the characters are really well develop and the part of the reason why I'm a little annoyed with these things that I consider it to be loose ends. it just left me a little unsatisfied for these things because I was looking forward to these things happening in the story and they never came to fruition. but I understand as a writer wanting to do a twist of something different it's just for me personally didn't care for this particular twist. I will be starting Savage Prince tomorrow I've already purchased a copy

‘DOMINATING HER CURVES’ is from international bestselling author Alex Anders and is for those who love short erotic romances where full-figured women, not only get their gorgeous guys, but are dominated by an alpha male. There were 2 things that Renee Wheatley had a weakness for: raspberry crème brulee, and billionaire rock stars - rippling abs and bulging jeans included. Luckily for her, her new hotel job had both, though she suspected she’d only get her lips around one. After all, how many rock stars do you see spanking the curves of a full-figured girl like her? Yet, when her eyes met HIS, his steely-wicked eyes, she could feel them undress her. 'Could that have happened?' she thought. Well, she was sure as hell not going to find out. Finding out meant risking her job. She wasn’t the roguish son of a billionaire. She was working class. She was a ‘good girl’ who always played it safe.
