A vengeful, wild-eyed warrior, he's the most sinister figure in Scottish legend. For three centuries, the Tercentennial Baron has fought his way through famous battles - then vanished without a trace. Now he's reappeared in the quiet town of Bonnybield, where he's about to be discovered by 13-year-old Percival Dunbar.... Armed with a secret stash of books on the supernatural, Percival is the only one to recognize the ghostly signs emerging around his town.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I listened to this with my daughter, who is 11, during a long road trip. We were both completely engaged by the story - me especially to the bits of Scottish history, and her to the magical story line. The narrator's voice is perfect and we just loved it, we had not finished the book by the time the trip was over, so we listened to it on the couch for a couple evenings before bed - so fun!
