Bella Abbascia has returned to Seaside Cottages in Wellfleet, Massachusetts, as she does every summer. Only this year, Bella has more on her mind than sunbathing and skinny-dipping with her girlfriends. She's quit her job, put her house on the market, and sworn off relationships while she builds a new life in her favorite place on earth. That is, until good-time Bella's prank takes a bad turn and a handsome police officer appears on the scene. Single father and police officer Caden Grant left Boston with his 14-year-old son, Evan, after his partner was killed in the line of duty. He hopes to find a safer life in the small resort town of Wellfleet, and when he meets Bella during a night patrol shift, he realizes he's found the one thing he'd never allowed himself to hope for - or even realized he was missing.

My favorite thing about audio books are you can take books on the go and listen in the car driving to work or even at work during a downtime. I thought I had read all the books before so this was a treat in to listen to the story. Great narrator and she did a wonderful job bringing the characters to life.

Cara Donovan's summer tutoring job is turning out to be a challenge - and not just because of her troubled 12-year-old student. It's his uncle Josh who's the real problem. If problem is the word for an irresistibly cocky, muscle-bound rancher with a taste for tight Levi's and shameless flirtation…Cara is nothing like the wallflower Josh King remembers good-naturedly teasing in high school. This Cara is gorgeous, confident, fun. From the moment the fiery teacher steps foot on his family's Lazy K Ranch, the stubborn playboy is determined to corral her. So what happens when his luscious lover takes over the reins?

And Matt McKinney isn't looking for fun - he's a Navy SEAL, a grown man with a long list of missions and fallen brothers. Abby has brought her children to this beach to start over, to give them the enjoyable memories they deserve. Three years ago, I met a girl, we fell in love, and we got married on the beach in the Florida Keys. Then I went back to my SEAL team and she launched a career designing lingerie (yes, I'm a lucky man). While I fought in the sandbox, she became the star of a reality TV show because her stuff's that good. Hindi's loud and colorful and everything I'm not. She lives for the moment and tying her down would be like forcing a firefly into a jar.

You can call me Commander. My SEAL Team follows my lead, takes my orders, and acknowledges my authority. It's not just that I'm in charge - it's that I'm the best at what I do. You might think I'm arrogant, but if you follow my rules, we all come home. Cause and effect. Sure, I might be an asshole, but I'm the asshole in charge and I'll keep you safe. The only trouble is, Hindi Alvarez never swore an oath of allegiance.

Rescuing Marlee Williams was my first mistake. Now, she thinks we're wingmen. That we have each other's back. And there's something about Marlee that makes me smile, makes me want to be a better man even as I want to lock her in my bedroom and kiss her until we both run out of air. So when she asks me to do her a favor, I'm all in. I'm her wingman, after all. Except she needs someone to knock her up, to give her the baby she craves, and then leave.

I've never met a woman I couldn't love - for one night. I'm the bad boy, the player, the sexy heartbreaker you meet in a bar and take home. And after my last hellish tour of duty as a SEAL, sun, sand, and sex are my new mission in life. Happily ever after? Pass. I'll give you the best 12 hours of your life, and then I'm gone because why settle down when playing the field is so fun? All that changes when I meet Valentina Fuentes.

What he doesn't need is a gorgeous stowaway harboring secrets and running from killers. Never mind that he does his best work undercover. Maddie Kincaid is accustomed to trouble, but she'd hoped to leave it behind when she settled in peaceful Brazos Bend. Who would have guessed that helping a gentle old man would land her in the middle of an attempted murder - her own?
