Into the wilds of Natal in the 1870s are born Sean and Garrick Courtney, the twin brothers who could not be more different. Fate, war and the jealous schemes of a woman are to drive them even further apart. But as history unfolds a continent is awakening. A classic tale of the African bush and magnificent literary debut! What a story .. what a storyteller! John Lee has captured the essence and the passion of the story admirably. His South African accents are good, if a little stereotypical.... they irritate a little at times ... but only for a South African. I applaud his excellent attempt. The historical, geographical, adventurous, romantic content is a feast for the imagination. I thoroughly look forward to listening to Mr Smith’s myriad publications

In Hiccup the Viking's misadventures, the stakes have never been higher, and it's friend versus foe to decide the fate of the world. In this, the penultimate title in the amazing story arc that began with How to Train Your Dragon, Hiccup is faced with a personal dilemma against the backdrop of an impending battle and the possible destruction of everything he knows.

13 Hours presents, for the first time ever, the true account of the events of September 11, 2012, when terrorists attacked the US State Department Special Mission Compound and a nearby CIA station called the Annex in Benghazi, Libya. A team of six American security operators fought to repel the attackers and protect the Americans stationed there. Those men went beyond the call of duty, performing extraordinary acts of courage and heroism, to avert tragedy on a much larger scale.

The long siege is ended. Troy lies in ashes. The black ships of the Greek war-host set sail for home – but for King Odysseus of Ithaca, the return voyage holds hazards far greater than any he faced in the Trojan War. A sequel to Black Ships Before Troy, Rosemary Sutcliff’s retelling of The Odyssey transforms Homer’s complex epic poem into a traveller’s tale with a cast of men, magicians and monsters: the flesh-eating Cyclops, the deadly enchantment of Circe and Odysseus’s battle to regain his wife and long-lost kingdom.
