I learned something very valuable in a silent season, and that is that I shouldn't be trying to build something when I was supposed to be cultivating my spirit. I was supposed to use that season to spend time with God, grow, and rest in him - not step out on faith and try to do something out of his timing. How many of us are making "faith moves" when we are supposed to be resting? You will find yourself tired because you built something that wasn't even for you.

When it comes to going to the next level in life, the area of finances is one in which God desires to increase and expand us to greater levels. Wealth and riches are the inheritance of the believer; however we must release our faith in God's ability to increase us more and more, even to the point of bringing generational wealth into our lives. As we prioritize our finances and commit to making God's way of doing things our primary focus, we can begin to experience the financial blessing God promises in His Word.

Countless books on success tell you what you need to get that you don't already possess. In Act Like a Success, Think Like a Success, Steve Harvey tells you how to achieve your dreams using the gift you already have. Every one of us was born with a gift endowed by our creator - something you do the best at with very little effort. While it can be like someone else's, your gift is yours alone. No one can take it away. You are the only one who can use it - or waste it.

Like every girl, Sarah Jakes dreamed of a life full of love, laughter, and happy endings. But her dreams changed dramatically when she became pregnant at age 13. Sarah's captivating story, unflinchingly honest and deeply vulnerable, is a vivid reminder that God can turn even the deepest pain into His perfection. More than a memoir, Lost and Found offers hope and encouragement. Perhaps you, like Sarah, find yourself wandering the detours of life. Regardless of how lost you feel, you, too, can be found.
