Mike Epps is one of America’s favorite and funniest people, but the path to fame was paved with opportunities to mess it up. And mess it up he did. Growing up in “Naptown” - what people who live there really call rough-around-the-edges Indianapolis - Epps was drawn to a life of crime, but as he quickly discovered, stealing and dealing didn’t really fit his sweet sensibilities. Not to mention he wasn’t very good at it - take, for example, the day he had to call the cops on himself when a dog wouldn’t let him leave a house he was burgling.

Bobby Brown has been one of the most compelling American artists of the past 30 years, a magnetic and talented figure who successfully crossed over many musical genres, including R&B and hip-hop as well as the mainstream. In the late 1980s, the former front man of New Edition had a wildly successful solo career - especially with the launch of Don't Be Cruel - garnering multiple hits on the Billboard top 10 list as well as several Grammy, American Music, and Soul Train awards.

Forever a fan of New Edition and also a firm believer that Bobby Brown was never Whitney Houston's downfall I was very interested in what he would share. The story was interesting sometimes not a seamless transition because he repeatedly spoke of certain periods from different aspects in other chapters vs giving the timeline with the info. it definitely shed light on certain aspects of his life AND i could tell it is important to him that people know at the core of his being who he truly is. I felt his heart but wished someone had taken some info out. my only other problem was the performance of the story... Bobby 😢... I had to speed it up to be able to listen. perhaps he could have had a voice double or someone read and he do certain segments but I would NOT have listened had i could not speed it up. Overall I hope Bobby finds peace and is able to enjoy life❤
