Nicole Cassidy is a witch descended from the Greek gods...but she doesn't know it until she moves to a new town and discovers a dangerous world of magic and monsters that she never knew existed. When the Olympian Comet shoots through the sky for the first time in 3,000 years, Nicole and four others - including mysterious bad-boy Blake - are gifted with elemental powers. But the comet has another effect - it opens the portal to another dimension that has imprisoned the Titans for centuries.

Interesting books. Really loved how even though Nicole was the reason they all got their enhanced powers they all really shared in being the leader. often times it's I'm the leader and that's it. Where in reality people tend to share leader roles based on situations so it was very realistic in that. Great characters and development.

This series is amazing! really easy to get ducked into this world. unfortunately the narrator doesn't do it justice. she makes Maizy as an 11 year old sound like a 4 year old. Plus she screeches at various places making a reaction like nails on a chalkboard come over me. Read it don't listen to it.
