Finally CF is returning to her former style of plotting. More character development and less smutty talk between the leading man and leading lady in the story, or should I say Leopard. Lately all of her series have turned into offensive sex scenes with the crudest references to both female and male interactions . It was wonderful to discover Evangeline’s character. She was the perfect combination of sweet and sass. Fyodor’s character was fascinating as well. They made a great couple. I also enjoyed many of the leopard couples from
previous books being involved in this story. I hope Ms Feehan will continue writing her more developed plot lines with characters of integrity.

Hats off to Emma Chase for composing such a clever, witty, and fast paced story. Drew’s perspectives are misogynistic but in a naughty boy sort of way. It’s Great fun to observe Kate’s handling of her obnoxious yet endearing coworker. The dialogue is unending fun. The characters involved had me laughing out loud. If you want to spend a few hours of fun listening. Order “Tangled”.

I was thrilled to discover Ms Laurens was starting a series for the intrepid Lady Osbaldestone. Her vignette appearances through the Cynster series and Bastion Club Series always made me curious. I wanted her back story. In LOCG you get those answers: what was her late husband like, was it s good marriage, and what’s the history behind her silver handled cane? You see a softer side of Therese as she deals with her grandchildren and the villagers where she currently resides. Clever n witty as always. SL and Lady O do not disappoint. I highly recommend this book and look forward to the series next installment.

Although Raine’s marriage is crumbling into a divorce, her action hero husband, Kenzie Scott, agrees to take the role. But when the skeletons in Kenzie’s closet are mirrored by the movie character’s dark secrets, Kenzie knows he must either confront his past or lose the one woman he’ll always love.

If you like in-depth character development, clever prose that takes you on an emotional journey with Kinsey and Rainey, then listen away. I never wanted the story to end.

An of course, having Barbara Rosenblat reading this excellent book is "icing on the cake".

The first storm comes from, of all places, the Minnesota zoo. Two large and very rare Amur tigers have vanished from their cage, and authorities are worried sick that they've been stolen for their body parts. Traditional Chinese medicine prizes those parts for home remedies, and people will do extreme things to get what they need. Some of them are a great deal more extreme than others - as Virgil is about to find out.

As usual, there are several plot twists circling around Virgil, especially the stolen tigers, and Escape Clause doesn't disappoint. Sandford's gift of characterization draws the listener to attention. Eric Conger's narrative style also makes this a delight. I don't like sharing spoilers, so I will conclude by writing if you are a JS fan, you won't be disappointed by his latest contribution to the Virgil Flowers series: Escape Clause. This is the first of the Leopard Series to let me down. The plot was weak and the character development centered around "cats in heat". Does CF have a Ghost Writer? If so, is it a teenager???
The only bright spots were brief moments with Jake and Emma, yet not bright enough to warrant purchasing, let alone listening to this one. TAKE A PASS on this book. Karen White was fine with the narration.
