Life was always just about perfect for Brooke Madison Bowers. She was the prettiest, most popular girl in small-town St. Dennis, Maryland. She was prom queen, a local pageant star, and the pride and joy of her loving parents. She even married the man of her dreams. But the promise of happily ever after fell to pieces when her husband was killed while serving in Iraq. Brokenhearted and longing for the solace of better days, she returns to the idyllic world of St. Dennis, and the familiar comfort of the family farm.

First, having Xe Sands as the narrator brings this book and all those in the series to a much higher level than the Eternity Springs audio books. Also this story is warm and wonderful. I found myself smiling at so many moments. Enjoy!

Holly Garrett was in trouble. The stranger who'd saved her from a storm was not asking for her help. And he was inviting her to live with him. She could cook for him, and bathe him, but nothing had prepared he for the glances he threw her way.

I’ve listened to almost all Susan Mallory’s books on audio. This performance is so bad I gave up after 4 chapters. The story seemed fine, I just could not handle this narrator any longer.

While I enjoyed this book it is a great pity the series did not close out with the same performer. I’ll avoid any books performed by Natalie Ross, her voice is very annoying. If I did not really want to listen to the last book, I would have returned it for a refund!

No connections. Play it safe. These were the rules Ivey lived her life by. Until she hit Mustang, Colorado, a perfectly imperfect town where the citizens were welcoming, and one of them included the tall, beautiful, macho-man rancher cowboy Grayson Cody. On the run for a decade, Ivey knew she was supposed to play it safe. But she was tired of being on the run. She wanted normal. She wanted real. She wanted a home. And she wanted Grayson Cody. And Grayson Cody wanted Ivey.

This book was well performed Nd the story was quite good. However, I almost stopped listening several times as the author seemed to think you could only be a cowboy if you used, at nauseam the “F” word. Too bad, it would have been much better without all those expletives

A spiteful article about the former pitcher and current playboy, Reid Buchanan, questions his talent in the bedroom. And the newspaper's just the first bad news. Reid's grandmother Gloria's broken hip means she needs constant care, but Reid hired Nurses 1 and 2 for their bedside manner with him. So for Number 3 he chooses Lori Johnson, the first candidate who seems immune to his brand of charm.

Listen to the Buchanan series book narrated by Therese Plummer and hear the characters come to life. Listening to this narrator and I heard a fair story reader. Loved the story love Susan Mallery wish that she would really screen those who perform them.

While this story was average, and I really like Susan Mallory but the choice of Gayle Hendrix as a narrator Wes a HUGE mistake. I listened to parts of the book simply because I had downloaded it and it was the only book available when I was in a flight. I won’t buy or listen to a book narrated by Ms Hendrix ever again.

I could NOT listen one more minute! As always, Liane's story seemed wonderful, and I am positive her character development was also good. Not so for the narration. It was slow, labored, and just generally horrid! I gave up and bought the ebook. The book is greet. Just stay far, FAR away from this narrator.
