If Johnson Farthing thought that life as poor cart pusher in the coastal town of Wead-Wodder was going to be his lot in life, then he was about to get a rude surprise, and not necessarily a good one. Once it becomes clear that his beautiful younger sister has been kidnapped along with the daughter of the Prelate, his life is completely turned on its head. Farthing has to rush across a vast ocean and a huge continent carried by an incredible Sea Dragon and accompanied by a strange magician if he has even a chance to save his sister Rustina.

Some poor, some wealthy, throw in a magician, some fantastic dragons and a few become many as they rescue and have adventures to change their world.
To me it was a little slow to start, but hang in there, once it builds your involved in the outcome and left wanting more. As with the story, it took a little to realize the author as narrator was perfect for this book. All the characters flowed, no strain between male and female voices.

I have really enjoyed Mr. Price's previous audios. This is no exception. A group struggle to work together and fight to stop an invasion of the home. Their unique and quirky, but all skilled. Filled with action and humor.
It took a short time to become accustomed to the narrator, but realized he was a great puck for this story.

Lately I have heard some great British narrator's, this narrator can be included in that group. his performance was outstanding.
This final story in the series revolves around Cinder, Stagger and Infidels daughter. Yet, all previous characters come together to fight to stop the end of their world. I love when previous characters are brought into current storyline.
Intense action has you captivated til the end. What an end, some bittersweet, some justified and some great new beginnings. And Wow, Black Swan, what a surprise!.

My name is Cindy, I'm a Roak Junkie.
Yes, I admit it, and no I don't want you to 12 step me. I want more Roak.

Jake Bible and Andrew Wehrlen have created a series beyond awesome. Jake for his "out of this world" creative writings and Andrew for his. "always a winner" performance.

Roak is a character that stays with you and you want to either be him or on his crew. His adventures are non stop and hilarious. But, I'm seriously considering taking Yellow Eyes as husband No. 5. Good Lord, with all that speed and all those arms, he could take out the trash, clean house, do laundry, fix dinner, cut grass and you'd never know he moved. Not to mention romance and all them arms...ok, I won't go there.
You'll not ever go wrong listening to anything Mr. Bible or Mr. Wehrlen releases.
