This book is so much better than the last. The first two were great, but this one ended this series with an awesome ending.
The narrator did an excellent job, her accent perfect. She was clear and expressive. Great choice.

I'm Krystin Blackwood, and I've only ever been good at one thing: killing demons of Darkness. But at 24, I'm about to face my toughest challenge yet: shifting from working alone to joining a team of three other Hunters. Newbie Hunters. They don't know their magik, they barely know their place in the world, and when they find out the secrets I've been carrying, they'll definitely decide it's safer if they don't know me. But unfortunately for them - and me - Darkness has other plans.

I really wanted to like this, the summary sounded like it should have been great. I just could not get past the narrator. She sounded like a teenager, and even though her voice was clear the narration was so fast by the 2nd hour I was still lost. sadly my opinion is that this was not a good choice for this story. Hopefully the next one has a new narrator.

Instead, he is working a minimum wage job during the night shift, as being a vampire isn't all that impressive in a world where they've come out to mortals. Exiled from the rich and powerful undead in New Detroit, he is forced to go back when someone dumps a newly-transformed vampire in the bathroom of his gas station's store.

As this starts you can tell it's going to be a riot. A little romance, a little intrigue. some betrayal, but alot of fun. It seems some mean to manipulate Peter, but in the end he'll come out on top.
Narrator did a great job. Clear and expressive.

El Paso wasn’t the Promised Land that Ian and his crew had hoped for, but it wasn’t a total bust either. The concept of a safe haven in today’s world was a fool’s errand at best. This was the consensus of their tiny band and to keep moving their only salvation. While others waited in their pens, the four from the private security company moved on, taking on as many they could help, in hopes that they too would join the fight. Their journey was long and arduous, but it was worth it...they hope.

I have enjoyed this series from the start. Each writer has brought so much into each release that you think it can't get any better, but it does. It will grab you from the start and keep you eagerly awaiting the next.
I know that these are the writer's words, but the audio belongs to the narrator. This narrator is one of the best, hands down.

Excellent audio!. It has intrigue, revenge, lots of action, a great female lead and mysterious AI's. I have to say I enjoyed all the characters, but love Cruz and the "cat" the best. All become bonded in their own unusual way as the fight to reclaim Cruz's homeland, with a surprise in the end. The narrator did an excellent job of creating these characters in my mind. I do so hope there's more from this team.

Unfortunately, eyesight was not included in the package. So, all I can say is hurry up and get the rest of the story out in audio so I can get back to North Haven. . . Snap, Snap.

1st let me say the author did a great job as narrator too. Her voice clear and characters easily distinguished.
This story was seen through the eyes of an unusual and gifted family as they evade the "evil" scientists and their organization who want to use and experiment on them. Set in a future time it's fast paced and intense. It's set up for another release, but is still a standalone with a satisfying conclusion.
My only drawback is the place and time announced at each chapter. It made me want to yell "Alright, I got it. " it threw my off the story having to calculating time frame when it had not changed. Overall it's worth the time and you'll have a great story to enjoy.

Though fiction, so much in these stories hits on the struggles of the age challenged in our society. I have found that now that I know everything, no one wants to listen. Being underestimated in an amusing way is the case in these books. It will make you laugh and make you think. Love the professor.
The narrator did a great job, especially with Walt. He has you right there with all the characters.
