The MistVillage has been noticed. Having a clear knowledge of your business's financial life is important. No one should be in the dark about their overall financial picture. That's a disaster waiting to happen. However, with a perfunctory knowledge of basic accounting principles, including assets and liabilities, creating financial statements, budgeting, and more, you'll be on the road to healthier relationship with your money.

This book brought back just about everything I learned in college in all of the accounting classes I took, from double entry accounting to GAAP to what software is available to help small business owners run their own accounting. This is probably one of the best books to listen to multiple times to refresh the knowledge gained and to ensure we, as entrepreneurs, run a business properly and be able to show where we are in terms of our receivables and expenses.

Did you know the typical small business owner works three to four months just to earn enough profit to pay taxes? Whether you've been in business for several decades or are breaking ground as a new entrepreneur, taxes are a significant expenditure. They must be accounted for and incorporated into your business plan from the very beginning. Failing to account for taxes when planning, budgeting, and assessing revenue goals for a business is like failing to account for the expense of your rent or mortgage.

This book provides a high level introduction to setting up a business entity and what an entrepreneur can and can not do when filing taxes. From running a business in your own home to taking trips (business & personal) and what can and can not be written off as a proper business expense.

For seasoned entrepreneurs, this book may be more of a review of what they should know. Being a short book, this may be a book to listen to at least once a year.

I tried to listen to this book twice and came to the conclusion that I wasted a credit.

The narration sucks, unfortunately; and the story is nowhere near believable. The way everyone speaks is a bit too formal and unrealistic.

Just couldn't make it past the second chapter.

I was amazed of RDJ's, one of my favorite actors to date; roller coaster ride through life. There are "highs", lows, and a lot of loops. He is a great example of how anyone can hit rock bottom more than once, claw their way out, reform their life, and really prosper in a way that you can see their light; RDJ's light is bright.

I've seen and grown up with most of the films he's been in and was blown away to learn about his personal life and all the crap he's been through.

The narrator is perfect for this bio and really helped to keep me engaged in the story. I'd definitely recommend this book to anyone who's a fan and not a fan of RDJ.

This series is starting to pick up now that the characters from the previous episodes have come together and some are weeded out. You start to learn a bit more about each character and what makes them tick before entering into something new.

I'm really interested to see where the series goes with how it ended. I played through the scenario of the ending in my mind a few times and am wondering if things will play out the way I expect them to.

This series is becoming a bit more believable. With this episode, Hank; the janitor, is just a regular guy that happens to be at the wrong place at the worst time possible.

I like how he drew on his knowledge of hunting for camouflage; which is more believable than someone who has been training for the apocalypse is the MacGyver "Know It All" of the Zombie Apocalypse. Really enjoying this series and how the characters from the other episodes are coming together.

Well done.

It started off a day like any other, as these kinds of days always do. Sara, personal trainer, almost makes it to lunch before chaos strikes her upscale gym. Instead of meeting with an afternoon client, she finds herself face-to-face with what she can only describe as rabid cannibals. The whole first floor of the building quickly becomes a bloodbath, and she hides away in her office, hoping this is just a bad dream.

This was a fresh start from one characters view point where the zombie apocalypse starts at a gym. The idea of fellow gym members turning into zombies and having to survive is funny, but also covers a basis that no one else would have thought about.

There were times when I didn't like Sara, the main character, but in this case it was a good thing because it made the character feel more real than other books where characters, even women, become these heroes in a matter of minutes.

Just as my review for episode 1, Colin; I would like to see this story produced as an audio drama with sound effects, especially in a gym and how the story played out.

The narrator does an excellent job, but did slip in a few pauses between words that made the dialog seem a bit off.

Episode 2 down and I'm excited to see how the next episode plays out.

Collin thought this would be an in and out operation: break in to a poorly locked house while the family is on vacation, then slip out with their cash and jewelry. It should take him a few hours, tops, and he can't wait to take out the girl who caught his eye in style with his new score. Little does he know that getting in will be a whole hell of a lot easier than getting out. Midway through his heist, the screaming starts.

I enjoyed the way the zombie apocalypse started on a manicured lawn. The story, from the perspective of the main character, Colin, is a nice touch.

I don't want to say much about the character because I don't want to ruin the story, short as it is; but, the way the story is written, you start to like Colin and want to know where the story will take him.

I'm interested to see this done up as an audio drama with sound effects.

This is a great start to a series and being an hour long will keep readers engaged for the long haul. The narrator also helps to keep the listener engaged as he gave the story and the character exactly what it needed, depth.
