Emily Young had two goals in her life: 1. Make it big in country music. 2. Get the hell out of Bell Buckle. She was doing it. She was on her way, until Cooper Townsend landed backstage at her show in Dallas. This gorgeous, rugged, man of few words was one cowboy she couldn’t afford to let distract her. But with his slow smile and rough hands, she just couldn’t keep away. With outside forces conspiring against them, Cooper hires the McKay-Taggart team to protect her. Emily refuses to let Cooper get hurt because of her.

I didn’t hate it.... but I felt like Cooper and Emmy deserved more. I had been waiting for Their story and when I saw it just just over 3hrs... I must admit I put off listening, even though it was part of the Romance package.

I’ve listened now... but I feel cheated. These two characters deserved more. The epilogue... I don’t know.... just felt like, ‘let me wrap this up and move on’.

I love Corrinne Michaels books. This one was just a let down.

This audiobook was a complete and total feast for the ears and imagination.

As an audiobook listener, I know that a narrator can truly make or break a story. Blakey gathered some of the best narrators in the genre to entice the listener.... and the enticement works! Before writing this review, I listened to the story twice! I loved everything about this presentation!

The story was fun with a great cast of characters. I loved the emphasis placed on the kiss and it’s importance as it helped to define the love story of Lulu and Leo. Having a history can complicate a lot of things in relationships. Having a shared history like the one Lulu and Leo share , that’s the perfect set up for trouble.

Don’t even hesitate, just buy this audiobook. It’s worth it! Especially if you are a romance genre fan.

On one other note, I thoroughly enjoyed the extras at the end of the story. The Q&A, the sneak peeks at two new books and the out-takes were all very informative and entertaining. Thank you for answering questions Andi and Sebastian. I truly appreciate getting to know you both a bit better.

I truly hope authors start to lean more toward this type of Multi-reader narration for their audiobooks. For myself, it was so much more enjoyable and the characters were more vibrant. Although, with any of these narrators a listener can never go wrong.

If your still reading this ramble.... go! Now! Buy the book! What are you waiting for?

Ian is...just my best friend. We're extremely close, stuck so deep inside a Jim-and-Pam-style friendzone everyone at work assumes we're a couple - that is until one day, word spreads through the teacher's lounge that he's single. Fair game. Suddenly, it's open season on Ian. He should be reveling in all the newfound attention, but to our mutual surprise, the only attention he seems to want is mine. He's turning our formerly innocent nightly chats into X-rated phone calls. Our playful banter sports a new, dangerous edge.

Confession #1: I used to be a puck bunny, but after a hockey player broke my heart, I gave up all things hockey. Now I’m just focused on finding a way to pass my math class so I can graduate college. Confession #2: Ryder “Ox” Maddox’s deep, sexy voice sends fuzzy tingles through my entire body, and I’m powerless to stop it. Which is a big problem since the hot, surprisingly funny hockey player is my new math tutor. Confession #3: I can’t stop thinking about how ripped Ryder is from all his hockey training, and how fun it’d be to cross lines with him.

I just finished listening to this series back to back. I truly enjoyed the stories. They were sweet with a lot of humor and just the right amount of angst. The characters also felt very authentic.

I did listen to the series as part of the Audible Romance Package. Thus series is one of the truly hidden gems offered through this package.

When romance novelist Kate Smith suddenly gets writer's block as she's beginning the final installment of her international best-selling erotic Bed 'n Breakfast series, she'll do pretty much anything to get her groove back. Like sneak into a Tire Depot waiting room because her words flow there just like complimentary coffee - smooth, sweet, and scorchingly hot. She manages to fly under the radar until the rugged and charming mechanic, Miles Hudson, notices the quirky redhead slinking in and out of the employees-only entrance. But she's way too intriguing to blow the whistle on.

I picked this one up because of Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon. I was not disappointed!

This is a quick and adorable story that made me laugh .... and sigh .... out loud. The characters were relatable and I cared what happened to them which makes the listen worth while.

Great narrators always make a great story even better! Teddy Hamilton is a go-to for narrators. If I see his name I will have the book in my library of listens. And Erin Mallon does a great male voice and her performance is always spot on.

This one was worth the credit to me.

I'm a lot of things - a screwup, a basket case, a flunky. But when I take a nanny job to be near my pregnant sister, I swear to myself I'll walk the straight and narrow, which means I cannot fall for my insanely hot boss. I don't want to be tempted by that rugged rancher. By his chiseled muscles or southern charm or the way he snuggles his kids at bedtime. Ethan Carter won't get the key to my heart, no matter how much I want him.

My life was perfect - until a shocking tragedy pulled the rug out from underneath me. My children were left without a father. I was without a husband and a provider. Instead of wallowing in my grief, I buried myself in my work at Dovetail Enterprises. Landing the promotion as the CEO’s right hand was exactly what I needed. Getting saddled with Milo Huxley as an assistant is exactly the opposite. I can’t stand him. He’s arrogant, irresponsible, and out for my job. As if that’s not bad enough, he has to be devastatingly sexy, and have a posh English accent that makes me squirm on top of it all.

The push and pull between the two main characters was odd. The readers were great and the premise of the story wasn’t bad, but there was something lacking in the road to together for the two main characters. I didn’t hate it... but I also wasn’t 💯 % invested as I listened. The male reader did occasionally slip from a southern accent to a New York accent when reading the female parts. A little distracting but not horrible.

The moment Sadie Matthews walks through the daycare center door, I feel my world tilt in her direction. Again. I fell for her when I was 14, and I’m still not over her. Problem: She still thinks of me as a teen she used to babysit. But I’ve learned a few things about pleasing a woman in the last 15 years. I can’t wait to show her how good it could be. I need to move quickly before I lose her again. This is more than a game to me, but I still plan to win.
