Ten years ago, my high school crush found me during senior finals week in the student parking lot with my car decorated with items you find behind a drugstore counter and a "Most Likely to..." banner that would make a pro blush. And by "pro", I don't mean golf. In under an hour, everything I knew about myself was turned upside down and inside out, just as our high school career was in its final hours.

This is a short prequel to Fluffy and it's so cute. We meet Will and Mallory in senior year of high school. We get some insight into teenage Mallory and it's perfectly awkward and cute.

Erin Mallon is the perfect choice for narration. She delivers the humor and quirkiness perfectly.

While it's not essential to read this before Fluffy, I recommend it to get a feel for the characters. It leaves me eager to see what happens 10 years later.

Visions lead her to Nectar and Ambrosia: the weirdest pub on Earth, where inter-dimensional travelers with attention seeking issues get drunk in between the A-list celebrity lives they create. They can't pretend to be gods anymore - not since a treaty with the current supreme Deity promising they won't intervene in human affairs. The Doorkeeper of this threshold, Florian, rides herd on the rowdy Amaranthine, and offers her shelter and a job.

I really enjoyed this, it has a fun unique twist on mythology. I love the mix of gods, angels, and fae. I really enjoyed the world building and meeting the characters. The storyline was intriguing and kept me hooked from the beginning. I'm really eager to read more. If you like urban fantasy and/or different takes on mythology, I can't recommend this enough.

The narration by Keira Stevens was fantastic. She differentiated the characters just enough that I could easily follow who was who.

This was a fun sweet story. The characters and their struggles were very relatable. Mia and Derek work so well together and compliment each other so well. They both have their own demons to overcome and I really enjoyed seeing them navigate life and their relationship, finding a way to make it work. Derek has some real swoon-worthy moments. I liked the secondary characters, especially his band mates.

The audio is wonderfully narrated by Sarah Puckett. She's become one of my favourite narrators and was the perfect choice for this.

2.5 stars. The first book was so good I was looking forward to this one but I was very disappointed. It was slow and drawn out in some areas and rushed in others. The ending was so rushed and unsatisfying. I was left with so many questions and some things just felt thrown in for drama. There's side character plots that were never resolved. I did love the emotion of Harper's mom.
This book if forgettable, which is unfortunate after such a strong first book.

The audio version is perfectly narrated by Erin Mallon again. Once again, I loved her performance.

My story starts with a plunge into the cold water of Manhattan's harbor. A strong hand hauls me back onto the deck of the luxury yacht. Christopher was supposed to be my enemy. Instead he protects me with fierce determination. That should have been my happily ever after, but then Sutton appeared - ruthless and seductive. He doesn't care that my heart belongs to someone else, because he's determined to win. No matter the cost.

Meghan Kelly's narration was fabulous. She brought emotion and I could easilt tell each of the characters apart.

This was a very interesting and unique read. I've never read anything with a kelpie before. The authors do a great job of creating this world and introducing everything. I love Macey, she's sassy, strong, and questions everything. Macey, Cam, Flint, and Jared are 4 of the 7 elemental wardens, i'm very interested to see where the story will go with all of them. The story moves at a good pace and i'm really excited for more.

At first, I wasn't sure about a male author but was quickly convinced that was the right way to go. Angus Yellowlees has a great voice to listen to and differentiated between characters well. I especially loved how he did 'The Voice' but was not a fan of how Flint was voiced.

Meeting him for a second interview against all her better judgement, Shelley discovers that he has no clue about women. A shame because he’s super hot, amusing, and has a lot of single friends he could recommend her struggling business to, even if he does say they’re werewolves and demons.

This was a fun light read. I enjoyed the humour and quirky characters. I'll definitely check out more of the series.

I enjoy listening to Angela Doll's voice but my biggest problem with her as the narrator is the characters are British and she is not. That threw me off a few times. She also took some mid sentence pauses which also took me out of the story. I loved how she differentiated the female characters but didn't seem to with the male lead.
