To make matters worse, Saddam Hussein is close to entering the nuclear arms race - something Israel has vowed to stop. Love Vince Flynn books, and enjoying the Mitch Rapp series but Ken Kilban, the narrator, destroyed this one for me. Who cast this guy to read? It’s like casting Hugh Grant to play James Bond. Everyone is made out to be sniveling, whiny, wimps because of his inflections. The book is good. This performance though, is just awful. I’ve listened to 10 miserable hours, and never had a book I so much want to turn off.

Tornadoes, cyclones, tsunamis… Weather can be deadly – especially when it strikes without warning. Millions of Americans could soon find themselves at the mercy of violent weather if the public data behind lifesaving storm alerts gets privatized for personal gain. In his first Audible Original feature, New York Times best-selling author and journalist Michael Lewis delivers hard-hitting research on not-so-random weather data – and how Washington plans to release it.

Good essay on weather data that is completely ruined by continual Trump bashing followed by commercial weather service (Accuweather, Weather.com, etc.) bashing. If we just had huge government and let the government do all the weather data collection, forecasting, and warnings - all would be perfect. If you like that sort of thing, this book is for you. Glad it was free.

Love for war's victims keeps them apart. Will love for each other see them through? The slightest spark will ignite an explosion. And the tinderbox of broken political and racial relations in 1960s France and Algeria provides plenty of kindling. In the midst of the chaos, Gabriella Madison guards the orphans in her care while battling jealousy with Anne-Marie Duchemin, David’s former flame who has recently arrived in Castelnau, France.
