A BBC Radio 4 full-cast dramatisation starring June Whitfield as Miss Marple, the sharp-witted spinster sleuth. In the sleepy little English country village of St Mary Mead, all is not as it seems. Under a seemingly peaceful exterior lurks intrigue, guilt, deception - and murder. Colonel Protheroe, local magistrate and overbearing landowner, is the most detested man in the village. Everyone, even the vicar, wishes he were dead. And very soon he is - shot in the head in the vicar's own study.

I would rather sit and enjoy this book than anything written in this decade. I listen to these written words over and over, not even noticing the repetition. Love it.

Detective Harry Bosch has retired from the LAPD, but his half brother, defense attorney Mickey Haller, needs his help. The murder rap against his client seems ironclad, but Mickey is sure it's a setup. Though it goes against all his instincts, Bosch takes the case. With the secret help of his former LAPD partner, Lucia Soto, he turns the investigation inside the police department. But as Bosch gets closer to discovering the truth, he makes himself a target.

What disappointed you about The Crossing?

The narrator. Will read the book.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Crossing?

None couldn't get far enough in tbe book.

What didn’t you like about Titus Welliver’s performance?

His voice, it was monotone and irritating. Reminds me of an old professor I had who is well known in a well known 80's movie.

Any additional comments?

Please please get a new narrator
