Catherine has been enjoying the single life for long enough to know a good catch when she sees one. Gorgeous, charismatic, spontaneous – Lee seems almost too perfect to be true. And her friends clearly agree, as each in turn falls under his spell. But there is a darker side to Lee. His erratic, controlling and sometimes frightening behaviour means that Catherine is increasingly isolated. Driven into the darkest corner of her world, and trusting no one, she plans a meticulous escape.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Got into the story in the first chapter and kept my interest to the end. Well narrated and riveting storyline. Could easily have read it all over again as soon as I'd finished The characters were well rounded and exciting.
I won't give away the storyline definitely recommend for a good read.

What other book might you compare Slow Heat in Heaven to and why?

Other thriller suspense books, Karen rose also an excellent author.

What about Dick Hill’s performance did you like?

Smooth yet intense when the plot calls for. Delightful on the ears, excellent characterisation. Will be looking for other books narrated by him. Love the way he did Cash very sexy and Schyler depicted as a strong sassy yet feminine woman. Simply one of the best combinations on audible, along with Susan Erickson and J D Robb of course.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

If I had the time I would definitely sit and listen to this narrator and book in one go. I will certainly listen again.

Any additional comments?

Fantastic way to spend your audible credits. Sandra Brown is and excellent author. Just the right amount of suspense, drama and love.
