Grace Coulter has been hiding in the kitchen of her family restaurant since she was eight years old. That's when the name-calling began. Stretch, skinny-minny, boy in girl's clothes, all because of the slender height that had her towering over even the tallest boys in the class. Now, nearly thirty years later, Grace is head chef of the failing restaurant and still hiding in the kitchen. Like many businesses during the current recession, Coulter's may have to start laying off employees or even close.

This was a cute, fun story with a little romance built in. I enjoyed reading about Grace grow and experience new things and I love how she helped someone else do that. Hank is a sweet guy that made everyone feel good and a great father. Great ending, can’t wait to read the Christmas book with these characters. Great narrator.

This was such a nice, sweet Christmas romance. Sam and Murphy are great characters but I loved Patty the most. This story was fun, lighthearted, sad at times, but mostly filled with hope and love. The narrator was fantastic, she has a really lovely voice that was perfect for this type of story and I love how she read Patty’s part.

I enjoyed this story overall, the narrator was really good. Angela is a hard working mother that only wants the best for her daughter. Her daughter is so sweet and loves her mother and Christmas. It was great hearing about the Shafer farm, I love Papa and Donna. For awhile I didn’t care for Mark but thankfully that changed. I love how Angela’s and Mark’s is connected and the ending is great.

I loved this story, it was romantic, mostly light hearted and very little angst and just a nice story to read near the holidays. The two twin boys in the story are too cute, Nell fell in love with them right away. Nell is a wonderful sweet woman who falls in love with the boys right from the start and Mac is the brooding sexy dad who was afraid to make the leap, the ending was wonderful and I enjoyed this story very much.

Merry Knight is pretty busy these days. She's taking care of her family, baking cookies, decorating for the holidays, and hoping to stay out of the crosshairs of her stressed and by-the-book boss at the consulting firm where she temps. Her own social life is the last thing she has in mind, much less a man. Without her knowledge, Merry's well-meaning mom and brother create an online dating profile for her - minus her photo - and the matches start rolling in. Initially, Merry is incredulous, but she reluctantly decides to give it a whirl.

This was a really nice romance to read at Christmas time. I loved how Merry was compassionate, she was carefree, she loved the holiday and her brother. Her brother was too cute. I like the change that Merry brought about in Jason and I like the back-and-forth banter between them. I was a little frustrated with Merry not telling him everything but I could not have asked for a better ending.

After Violet saves the day with the highest bid, I don't even give her a two-minute warning before I kiss her in front of the whole crowd, and then announce that she's my girlfriend. Which would be fine, except my agent tells me we've got to keep up the act while he's negotiating my contract. Violet takes one for the team and pretends to be mine, but our boyfriend-girlfriend scrimmage quickly turns into a full contact sport, and I want it to go into overtime. The problem is - I've been riding the bench for years.

I couldn't have scripted a more perfect night. For one fantastic evening, at a masquerade party in the heart of Manhattan, I'm not the millionaire everyone wants a piece of. Fine - multimillionaire. But who's counting all those commas? Not me, and not the most intriguing woman I've ever met. And that's why I'm eager to get to know her more, since my mystery woman seems to like me for me, rather than for my huge...bank account. Everything's coming up aces. Until the next day, when things get a little complicated. (Newsflash - a lot complicated.)

I loved this story, I listened to the audiobook of this story and it was amazing, the narrators are fantastic, they are my favorite. This story is just fun, it is romantic and super hot, some pretty steamy parts. Flynn is a good guy and doesn’t hurt that he is super smart and handsome. Angel is a strong and independent woman that can be quite feisty. This was a great story and even better as a audiobook. #FeelGood #Funny #HappyEnding #Tagsgiving #Sweepstakes

I listened to the audiobook of this story. Like all of Penny’s books this one was great, it was romantic, fun, and surprises along the way. I love Kat and Dan and reading about all of my other favorite characters. It was great learning all of this new stuff about these characters, the background of each of them. The only thing that turned me off a little was the constant swearing, I think it seemed worse because of it being audio, I don’t know. I am though looking forward to her next book in this series. #HappyEnding #QuirkyFamilies #MentalHealth #Tagsgiving #Sweepstakes

The first time I met Caine West was in a bar. He noticed me looking his way and mistakenly read my scowling as checking him out. When he attempted to talk to me, I set him straight -- telling him what I thought of his lying, cheating, egomaniacal ass. You see, the gorgeous jerk had wined and dined my best friend-smooth talking her into his bed, all along failing to mention that he was married. He deserved every bit of my tongue-lashing and more for what he'd done.
