The authors did a fantastic job integrating brain science and leadership principles. Their personal stories help to apply the material to one's life. Love the application and assessment parts. For anyone leaving anyone from their family to large organizations.

Social scientist Brené Brown has ignited a global conversation on courage, vulnerability, shame, and worthiness. Her pioneering work uncovered a profound truth: Vulnerability - the willingness to show up and be seen with no guarantee of outcome - is the only path to more love, belonging, creativity, and joy. But living a brave life is not always easy: We are, inevitably, going to stumble and fall. It is the rise from falling that Brown takes as her subject in Rising Strong.

Brene is a refreshingly transparent the story teller who has researched her way and experienced her way into profound truths that have the power to change social structures as we know them. This book was very encouraging to my own heart and I highly recommend it for anyone and everyone who's ever tried to go against the flow.
