The men onboard HMS Terror have every expectation of finding the Northwest Passage. When the expedition's leader, Sir John Franklin, meets a terrible death, Captain Francis Crozier takes command and leads his surviving crewmen on a last, desperate attempt to flee south across the ice. But as another winter approaches, as scurvy and starvation grow more terrible, and as the Terror on the ice stalks them southward, Crozier and his men begin to fear there is no escape.

Well written, good story, and insanely good voice actor performance. Story gets a smidge slow at parts.

You know that friend in your gaming group that makes constant cultural references? The one who says memes in person? The one who shows you "hilarious" YouTube videos back to back even though you're not giving them any reaction? That's this book. It's an interesting concept that I could see myself enjoying, but the writer insists on making "gamer culture" references every paragraph. The book takes place 30 years in the future, no one is going to be making "what does the fox say" jokes, they aren't funny now, they won't be funny then. Voice actor performance is 10/10, he is great. I'm sure there are lots of people that will enjoy this, but I just can't handle the lame gamer references.

On a top-secret dive into the Pacific Ocean's deepest canyon, Jonas Taylor found himself face-to-face with the largest and most ferocious predator in the history of the animal kingdom. The sole survivor of the mission, Taylor is haunted by what he's sure he saw but still can't prove exists-Carcharodon megalodon, the massive mother of the great white shark. If you are into mindless action this is an okay book. Insanely one dimensional characters. Comparisons to Jaws are vomit inducing. Jaws is an insanely deep piece of literature compared to this.
