One of the comedy world's fastest-rising stars tells his wild coming of age story during the twilight of apartheid in South Africa and the tumultuous days of freedom that followed. Noah provides something deeper than traditional memoirists: powerfully funny observations about how farcical political and social systems play out in our lives.

This is definitely one of the greatest books that I've ever heard. I love it so much that I went and bought a signed hardcover copy afterwards. I was already a fan of Trevor Noah before I listened to this book, but now I am an even bigger fan. Born a Crime is so brilliant. I laughed so hard at some parts and learnt so much about life. It's a gem. Both the book and the narration are beautiful. I highly recommend it to all. 'Really looking forward to listening to his next book. Hopefully, he'll narrate it.

I’m so glad that I took a chance on this book! It is very inspirational, helpful, and wonderful. I learnt so much and I’m definitely looking forward to listening to/reading more of his books and the narrator was great. It’s just there are some moments when the volume keeps fluctuating but this is a minor problem.

Jamie Canning has never been able to figure out how he lost his closest friend. Four years ago, his tattooed, wisecracking, rule-breaking roommate cut him off without an explanation. So what if things got a little weird on the last night of hockey camp the summer they were 18? It was just a little drunken foolishness. Nobody died.

Once I started listening to Him, I couldn't put it down. It's this lovely. At first, I thought I had to understand Hockey in order to enjoy this book but I was wrong. It's about two best friends who lose touch and reunite. One is bisexual and the other is gay. As someone who has never been to Canada, I enjoyed the information the authors shared about some parts of the country. I really love this book and the narrators are exceptionally good. I am looking forward to listening to the sequel. I highly recommend Him to all.

The distinguished American civil rights leader, W. E. B. DuBois first published these fiery essays, sketches, and poems individually in 1920 in the Atlantic, the Journal of Race Development, and other periodicals. Reflecting the author's ideas as a politician, historian, and artist, this volume has long moved and inspired readers with its militant cry for social, political, and economic reform. It is essential reading for all students of African American history.

Expressions of Poetry by Montice Harmon is a beautiful collection of semi-confessional poems that speak about the poet's trials and tribulations. The poems are a kind of motivation for depressed minds and discouraged people to rise above their problems and face the world with a positive attitude. Most of Harmon's poems are prose poems. He takes prose poems to another level with this collection. The poems all deal with some aspect of the poet's personal struggles - his joys and sorrows - and they connect you with his spirit and inner mind.

The powerful new collection of poetry and prose from social media’s answer to Carol Ann Duffy, Charly Cox. She Must Be Mad explores coming-of-age: the pain and beauty of love, the relief and the agony of turning from girl to woman, the isolation of an untethered mind and the power and subjugation of the body. Charly captures the formative experiences of today’s young women from the poignant to the prosaic in writing that is at once witty, wry and heartfelt.

It is a young spring, and he hopes that arcadian solitude will prove a genial balm to his mind. But his romantic tendency rules otherwise, and he falls in love with Charlotte - Lotte - even though he knows she is affianced to another.

This is one of the greatest and saddest books I’ve ever heard. I can relate to loving people too much, so I understand what Werther is going through, but as the saying goes, “there’s plenty of fish in the sea”. I highly recommend it only as a cautionary tale. On a lighter note, Leighton Pugh (the narrator) did a wonderful job. I definitely plan to look for more books he narrated. His voice is fantastic. And great literature from Goethe. I’m looking forward to listening to Faust and other books he wrote.
