When it comes to women, I know what they want. And all day long, I give it to them. Dark, broody, and sexy? You got it. Need to laugh? I'm your guy. Desperate for something to put you in the mood? You've come to the right place, kitten. Every morning when my library opens, there's a line around the block, the ladies flocking to me in need of their next book boyfriend. I'm that dude. The one who knows his way around the romance section. And if you think that hasn't gotten me plenty of action over the years, you'd be wrong.

Pippa Grant's Stud in the Stacks is a steamy romance between two unlikely characters. The internal monologue of Parker kept me laughing. I didn't realize how steamy the book was until I was listening to it on Audible and had to turn the volume down in a hurry while in mixed company! The back and forth of the narrators makes the story flow naturally and brings the characters to life. Loved it! My only complaint is that the rest of the series is not yet available.

This is the next installment in the Hidden Legacy series, where a marriage of two houses is being planned. Catalina is tested and comes into her own. It lacks some of the finesse of a full length novel, but for a novella, it tides us over until the next novel can come out. It whets the appetite for what is to come and passes the torch to the next head of House Baylor.

This story follows Hugh after his exile. I wasn't sure I cared enough about him as a character to follow him into this story. I am so glad I did! The sarcasm and dry humor are excellent! The narrator captures the tone perfectly! I highly recommend this book, and the Audible version, which truly brings it to life. You won't be disappointed.
