Great book! However I was shaking my head at end of this, because the main character, Adisa, wasn’t held accountable for her own prejudices and prejudgments. While every other character definitely was.

Overall a very good read, enjoyed the book the entire time until my disillusionment at the end.

I searched for more like this from this author!!

Great story, good drama, great characters.

Can't say enough about this legal drama, except I wish the author did more modern day works like this (only found "Elixir"; the rest are historical, and not my fav.).

Recommend this book!!!

What would have made Shattered Silence better?

This story jumps to places emotionally I didn't see coming. A love story that doesn't get built well. A shooting where they start working immediately, no acknowledgement of human life? It just skips the emotions I would have expected.

Also, a good dad, seeming to put his love interest before his kid? (A Christian book)

A villain who narrates for himself is a bit weird as well?

I appreciate a series that incorporate characters from previous books and continues a story; this series doesn't do that; I was disappointed. It just keeps a "theme" of rangers, I guess that's considered a series.
