Early in her life, Josephine Malone learned the hard way that there was only one person she could love and trust: her grandmother, Lydia Malone. Out of necessity, unconsciously and very successfully, Josephine donned a disguise to keep all others at bay. She led a globetrotting lifestyle on the fringes of the fashion and music elite, but she kept herself distant. While Josephine was trotting the globe, retired boxer Jake Spear was living in the same small town as Lydia.

I Love Kristen Ashley Books. She takes her time and let's you get to know the characters. And before you know it your hooked. Josie and Jake were a little older, but you don't have to be in your 20's to fall in love.
The kids and their relationship were great. The book provides laughs, tears and shocks. I enjoyed every moment of it.

College is supposed to be a time of discovery, but Danielle Vaughn never imagined it would be like this: Heightened senses, supernatural powers, and a sudden craving for human blood. Dani is a demi-vamp, the daughter of a human psychic and a vampire noble, a living secret kept hidden for 21 years. As Dani’s heritage manifests itself, her thirst for blood is matched only by her hunger for Chase Diedrick.

Great story from beginning to end. Involves a Vampire society and a love triangle. The story is very easy to get into and you don't want to put it down. I can't wait for the next book. I'm definitely adding Cat Miller to my author list.

When Eliah Al-Saud and Matilde Martínez meet on a flight to Paris, they have little in common. Eliah is the rich and powerful owner of a French security company - actually a front for mercenary and espionage services - while Matilde is a pediatric surgeon from Argentina whose only dream is to work in Africa helping children in need. Despite their differences - and their current relationships - an undeniable attraction swallows them whole, driving them into a whirlwind romance and placing them at the center of an explosive international conflict.

In reading the publishers review, I thought this would be a good book especially with a 24 hour length. When the book began I thought, this is the wrong book and I'm not interested. I think the narrator may have kept me going but soon I was hooked.
It also has exotic locales and settings, history, travel, romance, intrigue; everything You look for in a great novel. Wait, there is also heartbreak, betrayal and espionage.
The best part is, it's not over.

A childhood accident left Emmaline vulnerable to disturbing fugue states that last minutes but feel like an eternity. The blackouts are unsettling but manageable... until she meets Johnny Dellasandro. The painter gained fame in the '70s for his debauched lifestyle and raunchy art films. His naked body achieved cult status, especially in Emm's mind - she's obsessed with the man, who's grown even sexier with age. Today he shuns the spotlight and Emm... until she falls into a fugue on his doorstep.

What did you like about this audiobook?

I'm always a sucker for a good love story.

How has the book increased your interest in the subject matter?

Johnny was my favorite character because you could actually feel his need for EMM and there where things he knew, he maintained restraint.

Does the author present information in a way that is interesting and insightful, and if so, how does he achieve this?

I enjoyed her performance. The way she said Johnny or EMM, you could hear the desperation. I've already look for her other reads

What did you find wrong about the narrator's performance?

A love that's worth waiting for

Do you have any additional comments?

I did not want it to end. As usual, there are things about all of her characters you want to explore further
