The night I’m released from prison, she’s in my bed. It’s been eight years since I touched a woman, and the Native American beauty is half-dressed, beaten, bruised, and devastatingly exquisite. We’re toxic together, but we want the same things. Blood. Vengeance. Violent relief in a warm body. Beneath her touch, I’m alive. Against her skin, I’m redeemed. Buried inside her, I forget the past. Until the past takes her from me. Prison made me cold, but losing Raina makes me cruel. Ruthless. Unforgiving. I killed before. For her, I’ll kill again.

Booted is the conclusion of the series. It closes all open questions and must be read in order. But this series is so intense, it will draw you in from chapter one and not let go until the end. Loren and Renee are so tormented with their own pasts it is a wonder how they heal each other. The honesty between them is the only thing that builds the relationship. Their raw feelings and dark pasts are so real, I found myself submerged into their world. I held my breathe at the horrifying twists, I cried when I thought all was lost, and I hoped for a happy ending. But to get to the end, I had to walk along side Loren and Renee through all the pain. This story is more than just feelings, it is heartbreaking, gut wrenching, pure fear invoking words. Words that I could not stop reading. I loved this book so hard.

Emma Wilder and Aiden Snow narrated Booted. Aiden Snow has such a gruff, raspy voice that it perfectly portrayed Loren as I imagined him. Mr Snow brought out all the pain and hardess of Loren and was still able to bring out that soft, protective alpha that I grew to love. Emma Wilder narrated Renee with passion. Renee is such a tortured soul and Ms Snow was able to portray that pain with her narration. This narrated team did more than bring the story to life, they made it become reality while I dove into the world of Loren and Renee.

I’m a baby groundhog living underground in a den. Snow is above me. Living in a cold place, I grow two coats of hair. One is gray-white, and the other layer is thick brownish. I’m grown-up now. My name is Phil because I like to “fill” myself up with food such as clover plants. Everybody is excited about today. It is February 2. Why are they gathered around my burrow?

Kara Kelley has amazing alpha male characters in all of her stories. Drew has to be my favorite. He left Addi to protect her and lived with his decision to keep her safe. What woman does not want a man who will give up everything for her? Addi did not fully understand Drew's reasons for leaving and held onto that hurt. Drew stood by her through it all from a distance. Even though he is a bad boy, he still holds a soft spot. Kara Kelley truly brings out the best in all her bad boys. When Addi finds Drew again, she needs to find a way to get over that hurt. Drew completely takes over and helps her forget. As with any great book, things are as not as they seem. Twists and turns keep this story filled with suspense and action. Kara Kelley has outdone herself with Biker Daddy.

Tor Thom and Charley Ongel are a wonderful narrating team for this story. Tor Thom narrated Drew exactly as I would have imagined him. Bringing out the domanance and his softer side, Tor Thom brought Drew to life. Charley Ongel narrated Addi as a sweet but very strong woman. Each of Addi's struggles and emotions were perfectly captured through MS Ongel's narration. Both Tor Thom and Charley Ongel enhances the overall experience of this story by creating a movie in my mind.

When her defiant behavior gets her in trouble with the law one too many times, 19-year-old Melanie Smith is sentenced to an experimental program for young women in need of particularly stern, humiliating forms of correction. Before she knows it, Melanie finds herself connected to a computer network and then waking up in a virtual world which feels as real as anything she has ever experienced. Within moments of her arrival, a handsome doctor has stripped her bare, and given her an intimate, shameful examination, and then paddled her bottom thoroughly.

The Correctional Program was my first
Emily Tilton book and I have found a new author to follow. There is so much to like in this story. Strong Alpha males, spankings, steamy scenes and so many fantasy like settings are all within this book. I was amazed at how Emily was able to weave a virtual reality into the real world. Having choices has never been so difficult as it was with Melanie as she was thrust into the program. Melanie had to choose between marriage and community service. Both of those are not as they would seem. Just as this program is much more than a correctional facility. Emily Tilton played on words and created one very steamy and interesting story.

Made Earl Finn narrated this story with ease. His voice was so easy to listen to. Mr Finn was able to distinguish each character with different tones and swoon worthy accents. Mr Finn's narration added to the experience and brought this story to life.

Sophie and Kade are easy to relate to. Both have lost a significant person in their life. I can completely relate to Sophie as losing a child is something you just never heal from. Running from the past never works out, and Sophie learns that the hard way. Kade lost his wife and is trying to shelter his daughter from more pain. But a second chance for this couple brings out the best and worst of what their lives have to offer. I love Kade's protective ways amd how he cares so deeply for his family. Kade is so easy to love.

I devour each book released in this series. CM Seabrook completely captures me and I am never ready for the book to end. I cannot wait for the next installment, but because I could relate to Sophie on a personal level, Gravity will always be dear to my heart.

Gunnar Qualen narrates each and every emotion, thought and action of Kade amazingly. Mr Qualen makes Kade truly come to life and become a very loveable character. Jenna St. Claire is perfect for Sophie. Ms St. Claire helps capture the insecurities and fears of Sophie though her emotional narration. I didn’t ask for this. I was perfectly happy - and perfectly sane - before I stumbled into the role of Declan’s guardian angel. It was a thankless job until the moment that my panties dropped and his delicious smirk found his way in between my thighs. Hello, toe-curling ecstasy. Good-bye, professional boundaries. This book was a fun read. I found myself giggling at Autumns antics. Declan kept his cool even though I would have been worried. I enjoyed the interaction between Autumn and Declan as they become more comfortable with each other. I never saw the major twist coming and it hit me so hard I think I stopped breathing for a chapter, or two! I could not stop listening to this book.

I cannot wait for the next in the series. I truly loved the interaction of the characters in this story. Each one became closer to Kira and each other. It is easy to sense the bond between all of them is strengthening, but of course so are thw threats to it. This is one series you do not want to miss!

Lia Langola and Stephen Dexter narrate this book. I love the continuity of having the same narrators within a series. Ms Langola narrated Kira exactly as I imagined her to be. Ms Langola brings out the strong woman Kira is. Ms Langola narrated the four men with consistent and different tones which are perfect for each of thieer personalities. I have enjoyed every book in this series. They are all stand alone with a common theme: virgins. Silk and Shadows continues the series with a jock and a nerd. A very unlikely couple that are forced to work together. Norma is someone I could easily get along with. She is strong and sassy and a fun character to follow. Zach is a typical jock that just want to take the easy way out. He is a character that take time to grow on you. The banter between Zach and Norma is so much fun and entertaining. I loved the interaction between these two. The sparring of wits and the battle for self control makes their relationship real. The taboo places to have rendezvous, kept me on edge for fear they may be caught!

Melissa Moran and Tor Thom narrated this story. Ms Moran narrated Norma as imagined her, book smart but naive in romance. Ms Moran brought out the strong, independent woman, Norma is and was able to soften her as Norma fell for Zach. Mr Thom's deep baritone voice fit the image of Zach I imagined as I listened to the story. Mr. Thom brought out the arrogant jock that Zach was perfectly. Melissa Moran and Tor Thom adds to the story and are a perfect narrating team to enhance the experience.

I enjoyed how the 5 people were forced to be together, yet they all form intense feelings. It was a slow burn, but well worth the wait. It is an amazing adventure to take with Kira and her men.
