Although this book was well written, well narrated and very interesting - I was expecting it to be a dramatization based on true events. When in actual fact it reads more like an interesting history book, with a spattering of dialogue peppered in.

Was a bit disappointing. I’m interested to see how they make it more engaging for the upcoming movie.

Fantastic all round. Joe Barrett did a great job of narrating this. My third time getting through this book since I was a teenager (read it twice, listened once) and it only improves with time.

The interview with JI at the end of the book was interesting too.

I can't recommend this book enough

John Lee's Danish accent sounded like a cross between Welsh and German. Apart from that - thumbs up

The story meandered and the narration was melodramatic.
The book wasn't bad... Just not very engaging.
The characters were developed poorly and all kind of merged into one person.

Which is especially sad as the book is an account of actual tragic events and real people.
