The Arisen series is masterful story telling. Action and tension are so real they seem to be characters. I cried and cheered as the final book came to a close. As always RC Bray makes this a must listen to book.

I finished the book in just 2 days. I didn't want to turn it off. I needed to know what woukd happen next. There are characters to love, to hate, and to be shocked by. The story builds an entire world effected by telephone Zombies. I am starting the next book immediately.

The story was fresh and wonderfully written. I read/listen to so many in this genre I can spot the formula in writing most times. This book didn't follow one. I found myself struggling to turn it off when I needed to. I am excited to start the next one.

Humanity's most fearsome enemy is no longer death. Alpha and Marsoc meet their match. Lurking in the bush is the dark shadow cast by the operators - a terrifying force every bit their equal in skill, ferocity, and sheer resolve...but utterly unconstrained by humanity, compassion, or brotherhood. Now, to complete their mission and save the world, the operators will have to pay with their lives, or their souls, or possibly both.
