He woke deep within the ground, and the first sensation he felt was hunger. An overwhelming hunger for blood that demanded satisfaction. But as he hunted the dark streets of Paris for prey, a voice called to him, soothing, calming, giving him the strength to control his craving. Francesca Del Ponce was a healer, a woman who radiated goodness as powerfully as the sun did light.

Young Savannah Dubrinsky was a mistress of illusion, a world-famous magician capable of mesmerizing millions. But there was one - Gregori, the Dark One - who held her in terrifying thrall. Whose cold silver eyes and heated sensuality sent shivers of danger, of desire, down her slender spine. With a dark magic all his own, Gregori - the implacable hunter, the legendary healer, the most powerful of Carpathian males - whispered in Savannah's mind that he was her destiny.

Well written, narrator did a wonderful job! My vivid imagination, had me held till the end.
Only one spot that was confusing, two men were present and only one name was used for both men. I would like to look at this scene in/on a paperback to see what is really happening.

Is there really such thing as a lucky charm? The hero of Nicholas Sparks's new novel believes he's found one in the form of a photograph of a smiling woman he's never met, but who he comes to believe holds the key to his destiny. The chain of events that leads to him possessing the photograph and finding the woman pictured in it is the stuff of love stories only a master such as Sparks can write.

Sheriff's Deputy Zak is one of the few black bear shifters in a colony of grizzlies. He's used to taking guff from his comrades, but it's all in good fun. He's fought beside these guys for many years and it's time they all stopped roaming and picked a place to settle. Grizzly Cove seemed as good a place as any, and Zak likes the slow-moving police work in the sleepy coastal town. When his job takes him into closer proximity to the lovely Tina, though, he finds he can't resist her. Could it be he's finally found his mate? And when danger arrives at her door, will she turn to him?

Narrator does well with both male and female voices, in a conversation just had a little trouble with giving the sisters their own voices. Every once in awhile, I might have wondered who is having the conversation. But being I have this in an ebook I know.

This is my first audio book from C. Feehan with multiple narrators, which made it interesting! I listen on my cell while in my ride to work.
While I truly enjoyed the storyline the narration at times was hard to hear. Even with the volume turned all the way up, I had to prop my cell on my shoulder to hear, when they were speaking telepathically, it was almost a whisper. :( At multiple times I had to 'rewind' and try again.

I truly enjoy R.E. Butler 's books, I have almost all of her stories on my Kindle! So when I saw this on Audible I didn't even have to think about it, pressed the purchase button right away.
I'm hoping the rest of this series will be available soon.
The only draw back for me was the narrator choice, I feel her voice makes Cadence sound like a teenager. Took a few chapters for me not to analyze it.
