I broke the rules and stole an auction item from her buyers. Because somehow, they’d managed to abduct a Gryfala princess. Though, she doesn’t look, or act, or sound quite like I thought one of her kind would. But I’m merely a Rakhii gladiator; this is the closest I’ve actually ever been to a princess. I’d be considered lucky, indeed, if she chose me to guard her. Instead, I want more. I need her to claim me. Because she doesn’t know it, but now I can’t let her go.

I was abducted by aliens and auctioned to a positively lovely, bleak place called the Underwater Pleasure Dome. An amphibious alien with hands like bug zappers helped spring me, and if you've followed my friends' adventures, you know Dohrein and I teamed up because we're both equally stellar, and awesome attracts awesome. This is the story of what happened after abduction life. The good part. The part where we settle in and build brand-new lives on this brand-new planet. I just need to have tea with my alien-in-law and convince her to set her pet humans free. No biggie.

I have read all of these books and just love them!!! The audible is OK but could be awesome with a different narrator because I really can't tell who is talking. I even read the books and love them!!! Takes a bit but I think, if you have listened to the other books, you will love this too.

I have read all of her books as they came out on Kindle and they are so wonderfully new and refreshing! This is a must read! The female narrator does not have a nice male voice, so I had to get over that but she did alright none the less. I do think the book would have been better to listen to it the male narrator would have read the whole book! I hope Audible publishes the rest of her books because I enjoy both written and audio formats.

Great book. But I suggest you not buy this if you want a book 2. He went off and wrote/co-authored other books and left this in the dust. I even bought the hard back as well as Adio, anticipating a sequel. But no, it never came. So if there is no continuation, the book is fire paper. Saddens my heart just as the MHI books went down hill. I hope the author gets his head on straight or stops writing.

A bit disappointed in the third book but I guess every book can't be awesome. The gist of this book could have encompassed one-fourth a book. Maybe less. Very slow and not much gets accomplished. Thus the three stars. But as a continuation, it should be listened to or read about it from the book forums online. It is starting to feel like a never ending story, which I do not like, but I will cross my fingers it is not one of those because I will lose interest fast. Not worth the money in audible but Kindle book might be fine if you just read then skip parts.

I have read Gemmell books for years now over and over again. I even listened to the original CD's back in the day! These are EPIC novels that are so well done and timeless. The Drenai and the Reganti books are my favorite ones. I do plan to buy all my favorite books and have a lot to look forward to. Oh, I have collected most of his books in paper back over the years so there is no worries about buying these if you love EPIC Fighting/swords/monsters/honorable stories!

Raithe, the God Killer, may have started the rebellion by killing a Fhrey, but longstanding enmities dividing the Rhune make it all but impossible to unite against the common foe. And even if the clans can join forces, how will they defeat an enemy whose magical prowess renders them indistinguishable from gods? The answer lies across the sea in a faraway land populated by a reclusive and dour race who feel nothing but disdain for both Fhrey and mankind.

Oh Man Alive that was AWESOME! Now, I have to say there is a cliffhanger but I shrug at that reality because this is a series and you are crazy if you did not read ALL the books from the beginning. I appreciate the author telling us, the fan readers, why it took longer than anticipated. I just hope he can give us the next one in the time he alotted. Now to reread a few books to match with the Riyria books!!!

For Dusti Dawson, it's just the beginning...Dusti and her sister Batina survived the crash, thanks to a couple of brothers who are equal parts menacing and muscled. She'd be grateful...if they hadn't turned out to be delusional kidnappers, who believe Dusti's grandfather is some monstrous halfbreed creature bent on murder. Turns out Vampires, Lycans, and Gargoyles do exist - and they've been crossbreeding to form two hybrid races.
