The last story just wasnt my cup of tea. hard to follow, it did a lot of jimping back and forth that made it confusing. Loved the others, just not the last. It just seemed horribly out of place here, incongruous to its surroundings.

Even his former friend and legal counsel turned out to be a bloodsucking backstabber. Now the toothy troublemakers - led by power-mad pain-in-the-neck Theophilus - have become a huge problem requiring a solution. It's time to make a stand.

The story line is wonderful.....I really missed the Dresden Files when I completed them and this feels like the logical next step from that. As for Luke, his VO skills are amazing! He did wonderfully at separating characters, capturing everything from social standing to injuries in the voices used to bring these characters to life for me. I love this series and I have no doubt I will listen to it again.

Fun, quick and well done. I look forward to much more. Reasonably priced for a short story. Very well read, and leaving the story open to go in many directions. I hope this series goes on for several years. If started in the early evening you'll be finish before bedtime, and feel good about it.

I've been listening to this for about an hour and I'm out of breath. The woman has a great voice but all the appropriate pauses and breaths have been removed, making the listener try to breathe for the voice actor. Honestly, I can't concentrate on the story because I am so distracted. I really want to like this book but there are no pauses between sentences or after commas or anything. It doesn't sound natural at all. Hard to listen to really. Still trying though.
