For the first time, Hillary Rodham Clinton reveals what she was thinking and feeling during one of the most controversial and unpredictable presidential elections in history. Now free from the constraints of running, Hillary takes you inside the intense personal experience of becoming the first woman nominated for president by a major party in an election marked by rage, sexism, exhilarating highs and infuriating lows, stranger-than-fiction twists, Russian interference, and an opponent who broke all the rules. This woman is an inspiration to many for many different reasons! Her loss put me in the position of feeling like a second class citizen in a country where I and generations before me were born. Tragically we have a racist in the most sacred office in our nation. This book gives me hope, this book says my hard work to attain the highest level of education yet not coming close to the Americans dream may someday be worth it for my future generations. I wish all Americans could read this book with an open mind and an open heart in the true spirit of the America that we strive to be.

I would say that I have been striving for success since I was a child. I came from very humble beginnings and while some may see me as successful because I made it from poor to middle class, I never quite reached the goals in life that I set for myself. I am highly educated, with plenty of credentials but i have never been happy or felt fulfilled. In recent years my life took a turn, and I decided that I was going for my dreams, but quickly it seemed that i was working extra hard but only running in place and in many cases falling behind the harder I worked. I also would say that I was practicing all the principles set forth in this parable, but listening to it today opened my eyes to the fact that my problem is my mindset and how I’m thinking as I am practicing these principles. I was so enthusiastic about this book that I listened to it all in one early morning. I plan to implement as many of the laws today as the opportunity presents, but with a different mindset. I know it will take sometime and some work but for me this is only the beginning. I recommend this book to anyone who is feeling hopeless in their efforts toward success in business. As Joe travels through his journey of discovering and understanding the five laws so shall you too, and as his eyes are opened so shall yours.
