This just wasn't quite as good as the 1st book, especially the ending which just felt too abrupt for me. All in all, an enjoyable read, however.

When you listen to this audiobook, you will make many assumptions. You will assume you are listening to a story about a jealous ex-wife. You will assume she is obsessed with her replacement - a beautiful, younger woman who is about to marry the man they both love. You will assume you know the anatomy of this tangled love triangle. Assume nothing. Twisted and deliciously chilling, The Wife Between Us exposes the secret complexities of an enviable marriage - and the dangerous truths we ignore in the name of love.

Truthfully I had a hard time getting into this, with about 3 false starts, but once I got into 2nd or 3rd chapter I was hooked. Good story, but at times I found the female character painfully stupid, as in hard-to-believe-stupid. Also, near the end, the author got into too much detail, possibly she was stretching for content, and it wasn't in keeping w the rest of the book. I'd still recommend and the author did a good narration job.
