I had a hard time getting on board with Luke in the beginning because he seemed so mean to Mandy. Granted it was the childish teasing/flirting that boys do but it was a little harsh. But as time past and Mandy and Luke grew up, neither one of them forgot the feelings that they had for each other.
By the end of the book I was very happy with the way things turned out, not just for Luke and Mandy but the whole Langthorne clan:)

After reading Valley Fever (book 1) I was very excited to see that this book focuses on Tobias and Lina's daughter, Lola. All grown up with her father's wit and good looks, Lola is a strong willed young woman who knows what she wants. But has she meet her match in playboy, billionaire Alexander de Sauveterre?
Alexander has come to Napa Valley with the intention of securing the Langthorne vineyard but Lola isn't going to be an easy sell. But what happens when these two start to develop feelings for each other?
I really enjoy how Tessa Bowen writes characters that go from enemies to lovers, watching the chemistry grow between these two throughout the book was wonderful.

After seeing so many great reviews of this book I knew I had to give it a try and I’m so glad I did. It has an interesting twist to the boy meets girl story and while they need under dire circumstances there still manages to be some humor through it all. Both narrators do a wonderful job of bringing the characters to life, I would highly recommend checking out this book.

Lina Montez has had a crush on Tobias Langthorne, heir to a Napa Valley land fortune, since she was a little girl. But as the daughter of the Langthorne's maid, Lina knew she would never be good enough for him. But that didn't stop Tobias from tormenting and teasing her at every opportunity.
Years later Lina and Tobias find themselves back at the Langthorne estate and in close quarters once again. And this time the tension between them is undeniable. Tobias is a hard character to review because he fluctuates between being the hero and the villain throughout the book. While he cares for Lina, he doesn't quite know how to show it.
Logan McAllister does a wonderful job narrating this book and bringing the characters to live.

This is the first book I’ve read from this author and I found that I really enjoyed it. It’s not really a typical romance where boy meets girl and they fall in love. In fact our H/h don’t even cross paths until about halfway through the book. This book really sets the backstory for why our characters are they way they are but it all ties together towards the end.
I loved the narrators and think they did a wonderful job bringing the characters to life. I look forward to listening to book two.

But that being said I was still able to enjoy the characters and the storyline and now it has made me want to go back and listen to the first few books to find out more about the characters and how their lives intertwine.
I thought the narrator did a wonderful job bringing the characters to life and I look forward to listening to the rest of the series.
