Using powerful stories of people who have been transformed by Christ, it will strike a note of encouragement and hope, helping Christians to remember that a life surrendered to Christ in the midst of a church transformed by his presence cannot be defeated. Would you listen to The Fellowship of the Ring again? Why?

Yes- The story line and performance are enough to get me to listen to this again in a year or so, when I've forgotten some of it.

What did you like best about this story?

I am just a little more than half way through- it is a 19 1/2 hour listen after all.
But of what I've heard so far, I like the comroderie of the four hobbits and the way they seem to watch out for eachother. The dark riders add a lot of suspense to the storyline.

What about Rob Inglis’s performance did you like?

The man is a voice over artist. Spectactular. Only on one occasion did I have difficulty understanding one of the characters voice.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No way - Like I said earlier - this is almost a twenty hour read. Can anyone do that???

Any additional comments?

I highly suggest this book as an entertaining and even uplifting book. A nice alternative to zoning out on the TV.
