Master vampire Ian is unrepentant, shameless...and every shade of wicked. He’s made one too many enemies in his two centuries of existence, including Dagon, a demon who now lays claim to his soul. Ian’s only chance to escape Dagon is to join forces with a Law Guardian, but he's never been able to abide by the rules for long.

After waiting for Ian's book for so long, I can say it is worth the wait. Jeaniene did not disappoint. When I first heard that Veritas was going to be the heroine of this story, I could not imagine what Jeaniene was thinking. To me, Veritas did not fit the bill. Boy was I wrong.
I absolutely love this story. Fun, action packed, steamy and romantic. Full of revelations. If you thought you knew everything about these to characters from their previous appearances in the Knight Huntress world, you better think again and then go get this book and prepare to not be able to willingly put it down until the last page, or the last audiobook second.

Jeaniene Frost as author and Tavia Gilbert as narrator make for one explosive ride.

Pack life is dangerous on an ordinary day. But now the vampires have broken a tentative truce, and a young lone wolf is at the heart of a secret scheme to shift the balance of supernatural power forever. Ethan - Beta of the most powerful pack in the country, the Midwest Pack - must keep those he cares for safe. Skylar barely understands what she is, and her introduction to the supernatural world is terrifying. In her eyes, werewolves are no different than the vampires who killed her mother.

I read this story from Skylar's perspective and enjoyed it, but reading Ethan's POV is quite an enjoyable revelation. I would love it even if I had not read Skylar's POV. This book actually made me like some of the characters I could hardly tolerate in the other.
Good pace. Lots of action. Definitely a great addition to the Skylar Brooks world.
Job well done Emerson Knight.
Love the narrator. I can definitely say his voice is Ethan. Dominant. Strong. Looking forward to more.

I love how the main character has grown since book one. How the relationships have developed. The story just flows. It is entertaining. Not one boring moment. Definitely want more. The narrator is perfect.

John Charming isn't your average prince... He comes from a line of Charmings - an illustrious family of dragon slayers, witch-finders and killers dating back to before the fall of Rome. Trained by a modern day version of the Knights Templar, monster hunters who have updated their methods from chain mail and crossbows to Kevlar and shotguns, John Charming was one of the best-until a curse made him one of the abominations the Knights were sworn to hunt.

Love this spin on the Charming character. He is the perfect combination of charming and badass. I enjoyed reading a story from a male perspective by a male author.

The story is witty, funny and most definitely entertaining. It had all the elements I need in a story: action, humor, sarcasm and just enough romance.

The narrator not only has a great voice, but I liked his interpretation of each of the characters. I forget that it's only one person bringing the characters to life.
