These stories are an extra peek at Auggie before he started at Beecher Prep and during his first year there. Listeners get to see him through the eyes of Julian, the bully; Christopher, Auggie's oldest friend; and Charlotte, Auggie's new friend at school. Together, these three stories are a treasure for listeners who don't want to leave Auggie behind when they finish Wonder.

I downloaded this thinking it was a sequel, and when I realized it wasn't I was actually pleased to hear the deeper stories around Augie. It's a great non-sequel.

I love why the story was not continued, but I'll miss Augie and will have to go back and spend time with him, soon.

The Bodine ranch and resort in western Montana is a family business, an idyllic spot for vacationers. A little over thirty thousand acres and home to four generations, it's kept running by Bodine Longbow with the help of a large staff, including new hire Callen Skinner. There was another member of the family once: Bodine's aunt, Alice, who ran off before Bodine was born. She never returned, and the Longbows don't talk about her much. The younger ones, who never met her, quietly presume she's dead.

Would you listen to Come Sundown again? Why?

YES! There are multiple story lines which converge! Kidnapping, torture, Love story, Heros, and a horse who sometimes steals the show!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Cal. I love how he "tames" Alice and brings her out of her fear state.

Which character – as performed by Elisabeth Rodgers – was your favorite?

No favorite. She does a great job.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

This book kept me totally captivated and not wanting to put it down from the beginning. Hard to get through the Alice ordeal, but it redeems itself in due time! I listen to books during my commute and during my day. When I got home, I was torn between wanting to sit and finish it, or tease it through for another day of listening. LOVE this book!

Any additional comments?

Nora Roberts hit a home run for me, with this book! I fell in love with the characters.

For most, a plane crash means the end of life. For Dusti Dawson, it's just the beginning...Dusti and her sister Batina survived the crash, thanks to a couple of brothers who are equal parts menacing and muscled. She'd be grateful...if they hadn't turned out to be delusional kidnappers, who believe Dusti's grandfather is some monstrous halfbreed creature bent on murder. Turns out Vampires, Lycans, and Gargoyles do exist - and they've been crossbreeding to form two hybrid races.

Which character – as performed by the narrators – was your favorite?

Ruth.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The scene at the urgent care clinic and the "thank you"

Would you try another book from Nicholas Sparks and/or Ari Fliakos?

Yes. This is just the day by day account of someone's divorce process. Once you've lived through it, reading about someone else's D is just reliving old hurts.

What could Nicholas Sparks have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

I don't know.

Have you listened to any of Ari Fliakos’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

The presentation was fine.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Disappointment. Usually one of my favorite authors.

The Cajun dive in the middle of the godforsaken swamps wasn't exactly Trap Dawkins' idea of fun. But the GhostWalker wasn't there for a good time. He was looking for her. Cayenne. It's where she found her victims. Poor suckers. Then again, who wouldn't want to leave a place like this with a woman like her? It's not Cayenne's fault. Locked up, experimented on, and never knowing kindness, she was bred this way - with a heart of pure venom. Trap understands her.

LOVE the Series!! The author never fails to entertain and grab me from the start. So much detail you want to listen again.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

The male accents are consistent. The Female's accent sounded French, then Swedish, then a mixture of something here and there. He's usually on target, but something went wrong this time.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Love the story all the way through.
